Nights out are great and plenty of options for all types of night outs. Great transport links in terms of buses trains. Most plllaces are within walking distance from student accommodation ranmoor and endcliffe. Goodwin offers range of sports and lots of intramural for competitive sports games.

Great place with a shopping mall not far away, often with great sales. There are quite a few bars to grab a drink with friends

Great city, some good night's out like Corp Wednesday's. Meads is the place to go for some shopping and two unis.

Great Universityi, there's a wide selection of nights out, cheap drinks as well as good cafes and restaurants. The buses aren't the best linked, but most places are walking distance and if not, there's the tram.

Lots of ace places to watch gigs, especially if you want to watch small local gigs. Sheffield is a very cheap place to have fun too, especially when it comes to nights out. You’re also on the doorstep of the peaks so there’s plenty of opportunity to go and have a really nice picturesque walk.

Good choice of food near university, clubs should give more attention to customer's comfort than just making money (e.g. having a maximum limit of people, seats and tables arround for people to rest and enjoy a drink).

Decent night out, good shopping and value for money.

Very nice city and great uni. Compact and a great variety of things to do. You can't go wrong. Everyone is friendly and everything is cheap nothing much more to say.

Great places to shop and eat, culturally diverse, easy access to urban green spaces and the peak district! And of course great nights out with Clubs, bars and pubs.

Sickkk place, not too big not too small. Loads of trendy areas and good variety of nights out. Plus you are right next to the peaks which is a bonus. Friendly people and cheap overall.

Vibrant city with a great nightlife, only downside is it’s a bit small... Loads to do, huge music scene so there will definitely be something for everyone, no matter what your taste is

Excellent nights out with cheap drinks and good tunes especially at leadmill. Meadowhall for shopping. Loads of stuff to do. Lots of cycling and mountain biking.

Amazing nights out with the lads, Pop Tarts is the pinnacle of the weekend. Grill and Go is a staple in my lunch time rituals.

Nights out are the one I love Sheffield so much, wouldn't want to be a stud3nt anywhere else! The city is so cool, like me. Especially the shit bombs at West street live. Say no to drugs

Sheffield is class. It's not voted number 1 University for student satisfaction for no reason. The clubs here are different to a club in another city like Manchester. The value for money is mad, £1 drinks pretty much everywhere! Endcliffe village is a party village

Sheffield has everything you could want or need. Plenty of everything you'd expect from a big city but with a friendly, town-like atmosphere. One of the best things about Sheffield for me though is that you can jump on a bus and be in the peak district in half an hour if you want to escape all the noise of the city.

Quality cheap night out. Meadowhall shopping centre is decent. Loads of nice shops on west and division streets..

Great student night life, plenty of places to eat and Meadowhall shopping centre is only a tram ride away.

Great City! Underrated as a major city in the North, with not only a major shopping centre and the Peak District nearby it's the best of both worlds!

Small city centre packed with Venues. Most student houses are in the centre making it easy to walk anywhere. Big nights out any day of the week. 25 different breweries. International food shops. What more could you want ?
