Nightlife not too expensive, quite a lot of variation in different nights out with frequent live music events. Regular public transport into the city centre that runs quite late into the night.

Nottingham has something for everyone all year round. The nightlife in Nottingham is varied and caters for different tastes - check out Ocean, Shapes, Pryzm, Bubblin’ and of course Crisis.

Nottingham has great transport around the city, you can get round by car, taxi, tram, bus or train. Everything is centred right in the middle of the city which means you can walk to everywhere if you wanted.

Nottingham is like a mini London for me, all the perks of having attractions and things to do in and around town but not as busy A lot cheaper to live in too, whilst still being a good city to have a night on the town in The city centre is fantastic and the two universities bring a lot of diversity, very cultural too

Great location, easy access to city centre, plenty of things to do during day and night. Plenty of places to eat and go out.

Nights out are decent in Nottingham, we have a lot of bars to suit lots of different tastes. The clubs are fun but you might find yourself getting a bit bored of the same nights every week especially if you're looking for something a bit more alternative. There are a lot of cool places to eat out now that cater all sorts of tastes and requirements. A lot of students seem to be obsessed with Taco Bell and we have the only Hooters in the country! Some really nice independent pizza and burger joints too. Shopping is probably where the city is lacking compared to other big cities. You'll find mostly what you need in the two shopping centres but they don't really compare to other cities. It's not terrible, but not great either.

Great city to live in, student halls and housing close to campus and city centre. Lots of great places to eat and drink. Good transport links with busses, trams and a short walk to the station.

I choose my university because of the location, it has a very easy transport system both in the city and the suburbs. Nottingham is in the middle of the country, so it is veey easy to go north, west, south and east. The weather is not too cold and not too hot too.

Nottingham has a good mixture of activities for all types of students including night outs, cinemas and fitness. There’s a fantastic range of food on offers especially in the lace market and transport is great to get from A to Z in no time.

Nottingham has a lot going for it- a pretty impressive range of night life, bars, places to eat out, fun things like Planet Bounce or Climbing walls, big parks, and quite a pretty place as well!

The city is a great place to go to university because it is small enough that you know a lot of people in the area but not to small that it doesn't have enough places to go out. The bars and pub selection is incredible and has something for everyone but also has loads of other things that you can do here. Travel links are class and it is difficult to fault!

Nottingham is the perfect student location. From nights out, to everyday activities, Nottingham is the place to be. It’s in the midlands meaning that for most people it’s only a couple of hours away from home, which is perfect for homesick students. The main clubs offer a variety of music themes and are reasonably priced. There are plenty of hidden cocktails bar meaning that there can always be an element of fun added to your night out. It has an intu shopping centre, so all your clothing and makeup desires can be fulfilled.

Nottingham is a city with lots of bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants, take-aways and big variety of shops. It is a very good student city. The architecture in the city centre is beautiful. The only thing bad about Nottingham is there aren't many pop-up events and art exhibitions. And when there are events like the Christmas market they're quite small. There is a beautiful arboretum and a large field: 'the recreation ground' for a great outdoor space to play football or Frisbee on sunny days.

The nightlife is great with lots of different options depending on what you like however tickets are expensive compared to other cities. Taxis can be expensive and inconsistent sometimes.

The uni has a good student community and the courses are run professionally to create a dynamic degree course. As well as this the uni offer good student support and facilities.
