Let’s be real, Middlesbrough’s not the nicest of towns; lots of drugs, very little money. But she has her charms. Creeps is by far the best night out in town - every thursday in the medicine bar conveniently just across the road from McDonalds. There’s a pretty decent array of shops in town and occasionally a band will come play here (shoutout to take that). Obviously there’s the football wich everyone loves, there’s teeside park nearby with a lot to do. And honestly the moors are like 20 minuets away so if you’re after some fresh air it’s actually pretty close. Middlesbrough has a lot to do, she’ll keep you entertained and the nights out are a laugh. If you’re looking for somewhere on the cheaper side but still has charm and isn’t a complete shithole - Middlesbrough’s your gal.

Middlesbrough is a busy town, almost the size of a city, as a student there is a lot to do. Around teesside university there are a lot of nights out, including bars, nightclubs and restaurants, it isn't even that far of a walk to the cinema. Everywhere has student discounts so it is worth the trip out. Food is a little lacking, there isn't a lot of variety, though there is a few amazing places hidden out of the way, including UMI - a japanese restaurant and Mohujos - a burrito bar. In lack of variety, the places available make up for in quality and price, most places are cheap enough and high quality. Things to do wise there isn't much you can do apart from cinema, drink, shop and eat, however more and more things are coming to the area and there is a lot to do only a bus or train ride away. Shopping wise there is a lot of variety, consisting of 3 shopping centres within meters of each other, more within a reasonable travel distance, with plenty of shopping places. Value for money wise, it is a good place to live, cheap, cheerful and a good area as long as you know where to go and where to look.

Middlesbrough is a vibrant place with a very multi cultural society, there are plenty of places to eat and the shopping centre is really good, there are a variety of different shops all located quite closely together. There are plenty of things to do, I study at the university and love it. Although Middlesbrough does face a lot of poverty as a whole it has a lot of things to offer to a variety of different people.

Middlesbrough town is a great place for a lot of things such as shopping and eating as there are lots of restaurants and shops, the only bad thing about shopping is that there is not the biggest variety of upper-class shops. Middlesbrough night so I certainly one-of-a-kind but it is great value for money. There is not many things to do in Middlesbrough entertainment wise other than going to the cinema.

Boro typically is seen as a not nice place - but really, it’s pretty decent! The food places are always good and there’s plenty of choice! The nights out are such good fun & the bouncers are quality!

My favourite spot is Stewart's Park. Sun shining, frost sparkling and Headphones on for a 3 mile walk near to where I live. Walked through the park and as always, was blown away by the beauty on my doorstep. Sun shining through the trees showcasing all the colours of Autumn, simply stunning

Middlesbrough is a small quiet town. The night outs here are fun, however there is a lot of fighting that happens. The crime rate in the town keeps going up too. About 60% of people in the town are drug users. There is a nice variety of food places in Middlesbrough, however not many of them are actually nice. I must say that there are a lot of dessert places here which are all amazing. There are not many places for leasure activities here either. I must say that the taxi services in the town are good though, the waiting time is usually between 3-15 minutes, after you've booked your taxi.

Great location as it is bang in the middle of everything. Easy access to town and many other shops. It is also very close walking distance from my work and home. Really spacious and easy to get to where I need to be.

Middlesbrough is an amazing location. Food wise there are plenty of establishments with plenty of price ranges. You can eat just as well for 5 or 10£. We have a multitude of shops around the area, not only clothing, like Primark, but also utilities like Wilko. For groceries you can also go to either Tesco, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Iceland and many other off duty shops. While a couple of stores close at 18 there are just as many stores opened until late, so there is always a way to either eat or buy something in an emergency. Last, the night life in here is what you desire, you can either go to a pub and have a quick beer or you can go to disco and spend the night dancing. Depending on the mood there are a variety of things to do.

Alright for a decent night out and really easy to get to, most things are in walking distance and lots of well known branded shops to have a look around. Some popular restaurants to eat in and take away to.

Cheap taxi around town for £2.50 with boro taxis. Ok nightlife (but you have to be drunk lol). Not much entertainment but loads to do in the surrounding boroughs like Stockton, Teesside Park, Darlington and Newcastle. A few museums and parks around with a small shopping centre. locals are not a very friendly bunch. A lot of aggression, fights, and several racial encounters. Cheap cheap cheap housing!

Middlesbrough town is just a 20 minute bus ride away. The town has plenty of bars and restaurants and cheap stores to buy stationary and university equipment.

Lovely university with a good library and lots of food places around the area. However parking is such a struggle for many of us.

Amazing night out in creeps, mixtape in the keys and on Southfield road. Always somewhere good to eat, whether in boro town centre or surrounding areas such as Yarm or Teesside park. Shopping is okay, Teesside retail park is always good! Various things to do; seaside, museums, roseberry topping and captain cooks monument to walk.
