Prime location located in the heart of London right next to the Waterloo Bridge. A clean hall, but a little outdated.

The location in its self was fantastic. Right by Waterloo station. A great transport hub for those who use SW trains to go home. Also the fantastic jubilee, bakerloo, northern line links to Baker Street, London Bridge, Paddington and Euston to name a few. The halls experience was fabulous. However, there is a stark comparison between the older rooms and the newly refurbished rooms. I would strongly recommend trying for the newer rooms with them being the same price. I was left upset thinking I would have the newer room. Although, my room itself was rather cozy and I made it homely. To those who are scared of not making new friends. DON'T WORRY! I have made a handful of great friends who I have since then. The location is very secure with amazing security and everyone is very friendly. The distances from campus are ideal. 18minutes walk from London Bridge, 15 minutes from strand and opposite Waterloo campus. Overall I have given Stamford street 4 stars only due to the room not being as nice as the refurbished rooms even though the same price was being paid. Nevertheless having been to all accommodations for King's College London, I would say Stamford Street is the best across parameters of cost, location and experience. The location is by far the best due to Leicester Square Covent Garden and north of the river being so close.

Although good and convenient location this was a very isolating halls with not very open flats. Very easy to never see your flat mates and not a very sociable area. No front room, sofas or similar to socialize in only very small kitchen with 4 chairs for 8 people. Can't all cook at the same time and not very clean. Reception desk were always lovely and helpful

Second year living at Stamford Street Apartments and I have nothing but good words to say about it. It is a bit pricey for what it is, and rooms are quite dated, but location is prime and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Staff and receptionists are really friendly and are happy to help with any problems, which makes the SSA experience so much better! SSA is as social as you want it to be, RA's host many social events and though I've never been to any, it is a good way to make friends and meet new people.

Superb location, 12 walk to strand campus and right next to Waterloo campus. Gym located right next to the accommodation. Well refurbished after last summer. Good security and common areas. One downside is laundry a bit expensive and toilets bit small.

Although my room was small it was cosy and all my friends lived in the same accom so I didn’t mind. The kitchen was a bit of a mess at times but I usually ate in my room. The quad was a nice outdoor area.

There’s a gym in the complex which is pretty useful. The location is incredible; no more than 15 minutes walk from uni (via Waterloo Bridge), next to the BFI and Southbank and all the cool stuff going on there, 5 minutes from the tube, a library is literally opposite the halls and so on and so forth. However, there was little done by way of integrating students into the university and getting to know one another. Not many socials were organised that really engaged students - to my memory - which meant a lot of students would either end up in their own room or go elsewhere to meet people, which is a shame as part of the halls experience (at least, how I imagined it) is to make friends in your halls as a starting point at the very least.

Good location and the security are very helpful, but the ensuits are very small and impractical and had mold everywhere.

Very basic accomodation with very limited sunlight in rooms. Free gym and location is a big advantage however rooms were very small with no real common area to socialise properly so socialising was difficult. The location is perfect for those studying at the strand campus.

The hall was horrible, my particular flat constantly smelt of damp and you could guarantee a fire alarm atleast twice a week and it wasnt because of a fire.

Excellent location, 0 minutes distance from Waterloo campus and library, 10 minutes walking distance.

Amazing location, so central in London, that pretty much makes up for the semi-disgusting bathroom/frequent fire alarms. Convenient for shops, lectures and nights out. (WiFi is crap everywhere, it’s not a Stamford Street specific thing)

The location is excellent. You are randomly allocated into flats so it's luck really as to how your flatmates will be...some of my friends have amazing flatmates but unfortunately mine aren't so great and not my kind of people at all. Almost all rooms are ensuite and the bathroom is pretty tiny; it's essentially a small wetroom about 6x3 feet. The rest of the room is very narrow. Overall, paying £199 a week, is far too much and it feels like the majority of that is because of the location.

Unbeatable location, that's what redeems any faults with Stamford Street. It isn't the prettiest or most modern of halls, and some of its rules regarding entry and post collection seem unnecessarily rigid. However overall, you're living in central London for one of the lowest rents of King's halls, but minutes walk away from the college itself and that what makes Stamford Street the top choice for many. The social atmosphere is very fun as well and Nandos is just down the road.

Perfect location, only ten minutes walk away from Strand Campus and 20 mins from Guy Campus. 4 mins away from the tube station, good lines; bakerloo, jubilee and Northern...tube station also has a train station. It's in Zone 1. The only downside is the wifi and heating, heating isn't that great, it's automatic and therefore has a time limit and the wifi keeps stalling.

social experience was great, but the halls themselves aren’t that nice. bathroom’s are tiny and weird. but overall probably what is to be expected in halls, and the social experience was v fun!! also location is amazing
