Great location. Decent social areas. Kitchens and rooms are a mixed bag - really a matter of luck as some rooms are half the size of others despite being in the same price range.

To be honest, it is quite expensive for what you're getting. There are 6 toilets on each floor for everyone to share and the toilets are are clogged and surrounded flies. The lighting in the room is pretty bad as well; best advise is to buy a desk lamp. However, the social life is quite good here. There are kitchens for 8 people to share and this really helps make friends and get to know other people. The location is also relatively good. It has a library right across the street which is one of the best thing about the building. That being said, the common area is pretty bad. There's only a video game machine that doesn't even work half of the time.

I liked everything apart from the single-bed rooms. They were extremely small. I couldn’t study at all in my room. Luckily there is the SSEES library just across the street.

Expensive for what you get, toilets are always blocked so you have to search the entire building but the staff always try to help. Kitchens are cleaned regularly and it’s a nice group of people

The toilets are fucked. The kitchens are grim. The walls are thin and anyone from London can just walk in

Fantastic location, 10 person kitchens are very sociable. Room size was quite small. Common rooms had basically nothing in them, and no one ever really went there (this was 4 years ago, could have changed by now)
