Glasgow. A place for students, music lovers, & coffee drinkers; a home to wildlife, extensive shops and famous Tennants; a city full of history, aesthic buildings and stories to be told. A class night out, an incredible vibe no matter the weather and a practically free day for tourists. The slogan for the city is “People make Glasgow” and they certainly do.

Very central:) everything is great apart from bad weather. Nightlife is a bit wild but if obv depends on the person. Cost of living is much more reasonable than in most places.

It is very important to think about where your uni is in relation to the city/town and all the amenities available. The university of Glasgow is perfect as its in the Westend, with so many places to eat and drink, and really cheap nights too! its also 5 minutes subway/train/bus from the main city centre.

Glasgow is a great city; locals are friendly, everything is accessable (certainly by foot, if you are in a central location or via train and subway) - Driving is a bit of a mare, but again - most cities are. public transport is your god!

Great place to live during uni - unidays, student beans cover a great range of places to eat and shop - Zizzis and Las Iguanas are delicious. Mostly small shops for groceries, but in town there is a large Aldi, Lidl and M+S to do a fuller shop. Plenty to do include clubs like Garage and Buff club, cinemas in every direction and other things like escape rooms!

Class place, good football, good pubs, good rivers, good people, and also fun. Love the local wildlife too, however at times the rain is annoying lol. Not far from the bonnie banks as well.

Glasgow is a busy, active city; somewhere is always open. Public transport is good but you can walk most places if need be - the city is beautiful. One moment you’re in city centre, the next it’s scenic mountains.

Glasgow is such an amazing city to attend university in. Glasgow has everything you need - tons of places for a night out, hundreds of clothes shops to buy yourself a new outfit for your night out, Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall street at packed with fab little stores! And if the great bus system isn’t enough, the subway makes things even easier! So if you have an hour or two between lectures, you’ll always find something to do! The west end and the city centre both provide some great little restaurants and shops, I’ve never run out of new places to try or things to do. I love it in Glasgow, best city going

Great city! Big shopping centre where you can find everything you need, lots of student-friendly places to eat and, of course, brilliant nights out

Easy to get around the city either walking or using public transport. Nights out are great with a large variety of clubs available, great food all over the place and every price.

If you're looking for a place with diversity and excitement there's no better place than Glasgow. It has so much to offer and I feel like every day I'm finding new places and things to do. It's great if you like to go for a quirkier scene too. It's pretty cheap considering its a big city and there's a real mix of students and locals. Even though its big it never feels excessive and getting a taxi back is never too pricey. Public transport isn't amazing but the subway's pretty good and most of the time you can walk. Nights out are great and varied. In every category there's something for everyone.

Glasgow is a great city for students. Shopping on Buchanan street in the city centre is ideal - loads of high street shops. Night life is great with loads of cheap clubs and bars in town and in the west end. The subway system will get you to any part of town in minutes. Glasgow really has it all.

I love the city of Glasgow. It has it’s own personality and it’s a great place to familiarise yourself with Scottish culture. Within the city centre, there are a variety of restaurants providing a host of cuisine from countries all over the world, and there is a selection of stores to explore. I love Glasgow!

Great for everything. Pubs, clubs, sports and food! Never a dull moment, which is both good and bad. People are friendlier than any other city.

Glasgow is a great city for students. The shopping is brilliant and the location of all three universities is amazing. The nightlife is the best in Scotland I would say as it is super cheap and everyone is really friendly.

Glasgow is a great city in itself, the nightlife is tremendous with pubs or clubs on the majority of streets. There are shops for everything, fashion, games, memorabilia, bongs, anything a poor student loves. Transport is great, there’s taxis everywhere, buses galore and if the weathers nice then walk or cycle. There’s lots to do on free time when procrastinating from uni work like going to museums, or gallery’s. Glasgow is the heart of central Scotland so there is always the ability to travel beyond the borders of Glasgow and explore other parts of the country.

It's reasonably priced and I will be a good day and remember to be happy your family may be able to make me feel better about you cause you don't have any questions to ask you to be happy to see you then man who was it that way I could do a simple words of you as a bit messed with me in disbelief the best part is that a
