The rooms are really nice and so are the bathrooms. There is lots of space to store things and in the evenings it is really quiet so you can sleep if your not going out. The downside is that it isn’t very social and so you have to go for pre’s elsewhere. It is also very international and you could end up on a corridor with lots of people who don’t speak English very well. This happened to me so I had to go round the other floors until I found like minded friends. It means that you have to be more proactive during Freshers as it is harder to meet people.

Excellent facilities such as common room and good wifi. Not too sociable with many international students who kept to themselves a lot . Overall, I enjoyed my time in John Burnett. I had a twin room and was lucky enough to have the best roommate for semester 1. I think a twin room would be difficult to live in if you didn't get along with your roommate. Having an en suite bathroom was fantastic. The standard of food in the the catering hall was average but after a while I got sick of it.
