Significant variation in quality of life based on where you are in the building, mediocre facilities. Clearly the poor relation of Holyrood North. If you are given a room at the back of the property, facing onto Viewcraig Gardens, you'll have the delights of local vagrants drinking and doing drugs in the street near your window, or on the stairs leading up to Pleasance Gym, then screaming and swearing in the early hours of the morning. If you're on the ground floor, locals will slam your windows or throw things at them. We've had a student mugging nearby. Facilities are generally of good standard, but tumble dryers don't work. Probably much nicer if you're on the Holyrood Road side of the property, and not at street level, but I can't recommend from my personal experience, certainly not at this price.

Halls were very dirty and loud. Poorly kept. Students were terrible and any complaints are ignored. I do not recommend staying in these halls ever.
