No common room and small flats (4-5 people) leaves you quite isolated. Only 2 washing machines for the whole accommodation, so you often have to wait for a while. The bike shed is too small, the racks fill up quickly and often bikes have to be left leaning against the walls or on the floor. A 20 minute walk to George Square, quite out of the way compared to most halls. None of this is really advertised on the accommodation page - I wouldn't have applied here had I known. However, the RAs are very good, they try hard to organise events such as bakeoff nights and pre-drinks even though not that many people go.
