Chester is a nice city when you first get here, there’s a great place to go shopping and your close to Cheshire oaks which is another great place to go shopping! There are some lovely restaurants nearby that you can go too, unfortunately there isn’t a great night life. It’s pretty boring and there aren’t many clubs to go too, there’s Rosie’s which just plays the same music over and over and then you have cruise which is only good on a Monday and even then it’s not the best! It’s quite a small city compared to Liverpool or Manchester or Nottingham. There isn’t many activities to go and do around here either, you have the zoo that people could go too but other than that there isn’t really much that you can do here.

Lots of nice shops and restaurants in Chester. A small town but plenty of restaurants and things to do such as the Storyhouse cinema, an escape room or Roman walks or tours at the Town Hall. Nightlife is okay only 2 clubs Cruise and Rosies which are good but as there is only 2 can get very repetitive and boring. Town is full of students at The Univeristy of Chester. Lots of bars quite pricey but are good. Hardly anywhere to park in town but everything is walking distance.

Chester is a small town where it's peaceful and aesthetic. It's suitable for quiet living, and the living expenses are quite low. The shortcoming is that the food variety is quite low and might get bored just eating at those few restaurant.

Chester is rather dull, there are only two nightclubs which are very similar which means nights out get a bit boring. There are many cities close to chester with good nightlife like Manchester and Liverpool. It's quite expensive to live in Chester compared to what I'm used to in Yorkshire. There isn't too much to do in Chester, as everything is expensive, however it is beautiful to walk around.

Expensive place to live but overall not too bad, area is seen as quite posh so results in slightly higher living costs. Other than shopping minimal activities to do in chester city centre as a young adult/teen unless have a car or willing to travel 40 mins to Cheshire oaks on the bus. Two night clubs available, and plenty of normal, cocktail and indie bars and pubs would recommend if you prefer bars to clubs. Would recommend for an older/ mature student but less so for a younger, out going student. Although close links to liverpool and manchester if you have friends there to go out there!
