Really good nightlife, I am a massive metal head so with Lady Luck round the corner I have my go to pub, and if I'm feeling cheesy chemistry is just a quick walk, and a bonus is there's always a kebab open when you need one.

Canterbury is a small city, so it feels less daunting than moving to a big city. It feels safe and friendly! There's a range of different bars, pubs and clubs to go to, all do great student nights during the week. There's also great shopping and restaurants for during the day, as well as the cinema. Over all a lovely place to go to university!

The location for my uni is incredible, I mean you can overlook almost all of Canterbury because the uni is on a to of a hill. And during the snow it looks amazing. Town in pretty nice, can be quite crowded but it has all the shops for students. Unfortunately, the only thing I don't like about Canterbury is the price of items, they are EXPENSIVE. But overall, the location is great.

The city centre has most things, they just don't open till late. Coming from a big city like london and going to Canterbury was a change of pace, but with towns like ashford (the outlet) only a 20 min train ride away. It was actually a cool place to live.

The town centre is amazing. With so many shops along the highstreet. You can get moat things there. And so many restaurant and stall meaning that you can never get hungry. It is a bit expensive there but there is almost eberynti available there.

Campus is only a short walk from town centre yet far enough away to be fully spererated from the non-students when it suits you, city is beautiful and full of life including shops places to eat and nightlife.

High street is very historic and beautiful with the Cathedral right in the centre. There are a wide variety of shops and restaurants, litered with hundreds of pubs, new and historic! There are a range of different clubs to chose from on nights out all with differing themes. However there is a limited amount of activities to do with no local bowling alley etc. Overall a great place to come to uni.

Canterbury is a beautiful small city, but can be very expensive compared to a lot of other uni towns.

A beautiful town with lots of history and old buildings but also a large choice in bars, pubs and restaurants. There are a lot of shops in the town centre and it’s a lovely place to just walk around. The only think the town is lacking is a decent cinema.

The nightlife feels very safe as the town is a purple flag town. However, Canterbury is more for bars and pubs than it is clubs. There are only a total of 3 clubs (4 if you count the universities one). Canterbury is great for shopping! There is pretty much every shop you can think of here. There is also pretty much every restaurant you can dream of as well.

In general canterbury is a very nice city with great restaurants and even better nights out! The uni experience so far has been great and it is in an excellent location with a friendly and busy high street and there is a lot on offer!

Lots of places to go for dinner, drinks and a few good clubs. Plenty of shops to go to during the day aswell as westgate gardens to chill out in if the weathers nice. Always bustling and busy and generally a nice place to be.

Great night life, with so many food choices. Canterbury has one of the best selection of cosy, family run and delicious choices of places eat.

Generally the campus it s on a hill and it doesn t make it very comfortable If you love cycling or non windy weathers. There is a high frquented disco, Venue, on campus; it s not the best and music also is not really good but it s close and most of students frequent it. Shopping on campus is not recommended cause price are quiet high but if you need anything you can find it. Generally, for normal life is not good but if you live here for studying then it s not a problem! I enjoy it a lot evn though i care for quality food and close markets.

Canterbury is a beautiful city. It has many different places to go out to eat whether you're a vegan or a raging meat eater. Parking is a bit of a pain but there are park and ride services that are frequently used and good for price. There are mini festivals in Canterbury's parks and an Odeon cinema but there is not much in the way of entertainment in the area. There is a good nightlife if you are a student but it can sometimes be very overcrowded so be early to avoid disappointment!

Not that many good clubs to go to for a night out, but a really beautiful city with lots of history and really good places to eat!

Canterbury's a great place, it's a relatively small city in Kent, southeast of England. It's a historic city and has great attractions like the Canterbury cathedral, canterbury Roman museum, St Augustine's Abbey etc. It has 2 universities, University of Kent and Canterbury ChristChurch University. The people here are very friendly and helpful. The place itself is quite peaceful too. There's a fair amount of nightlife here, good shopping and eating spots too. Close to Bluewater shopping mall and ashford too. But, the one of the best things about Canterbury is it's close proximity to London by train or road too within an 55 minutes or max an hour and 10 minutes. So quite easy if you're traveling from London. The city is quite student friendly too, so if you're an international student, it's got close proximity to London Gatwick or London Heathrow too.

There are a verity of restaurants you can go in the city centre from local British food to Japanese, Korean and Chinese cuisine. Morover, you can find most chainstore brands in the city centre like the H&M, Primark, Lush, Boots and more.

Great social location for making new friends and drinking, i found it so easy to fit into new departments and didnt fail at meeting new people on every night out.

A great community and friendly staff, it’s great to be treated like an adult and study in a professional environment.

Great place to live not too far from town and the shops are student friendly and offer quite a few discounts, loads of clubs and pubs that have student nights and all round quite friendly people

Campus busses stop after 3 which is frustrating as most clubs in the town close at3-4. Thus creating the need to get a taxi

The walk from campus to town centre isn’t tooo bad, it’s a bit hill-y so it’s a leg-killer, your best bet is home delivery for food shops as it’s an absolute mission trying to drag shopping from town centre to home and Essentials, the on campus store, is extortionate. Nights out are relatively cheap, there’s a 24 hour McDonald’s in town which is fab
