I study st BPP in Cambridge and the location is so perfect. Albeit expensive, the array of things to do, places to see and all the restaurants and bars make it a great place to be when you’re a student. It’s the best of a city and town experience.

There are plenty of places to eat out or have drinks, including restaurants, bars and pubs. The nightlife is decent, however there are only 2-3 decent clubs. There are many events going and many things to see and do, especially over summer. You can go punting, further, there is an annual beer festival, strawberry fair, midsummer fair amongst many other events. Cambridge is a bike city, so make sure to get a bike, as it's the easiest way to get around. There are two main shopping centres with a good variety of shops.

Cambridge has good transport links, good pubs, parks and great history. Nights out could be better, however, could be worse! It can be a little pricey around Cambridge

Cambridge is a beautiful city. Canals, good weather, close proximity to London, prestigious university, lots of international students, shops and good local people. Pubs are good. Transport is very reliable. Overall great city

Amazing place to be for history and quaintness. Feels very safe. Nightlife leaves something to be desired but is still fun as long as you like cheesy music. Lots of nice, if expensive, places to eat out and shopping.

Nice and cozy, nothing special but can cater for a lot of different tastes. I would recommend to most people.

Cambridge is a great location, always buzzing and there's loads to see and do! The architecture is beautiful, and there's many lovely places to visit and eat out at. There's also a huge range of shops, however Cambridge is more expensive than other towns.

Cambridge has a lot to do. Firstly, it is absolutely beautiful especially with the canals that you can punt down all year long. The shopping is a big attraction as it has two main shopping centres; the grafton and the grande arcade. Both of which have all the main high street stores such as topshop, h&m, new look, lush and many more. There is also a wide variety of places to eat which vary in price - there’s the typical McDonald’s and subway and then places such as yo sushi and the market place too.

Nightlife in Cambridge is plentiful, with a range of clubs, bars and pubs to visit. The clubs in Cambridge suit a range of genres and music preferences, which makes it difficult to not find one you like. As for pubs, overall they are in the expensive side, however are very welcoming and comfortable. During the day there is an unlimited number of activities to do from punting along the river Cam to visiting the university grounds. Overall Cambridge is a great location as there is so much to do and it is close to London and multiple airports,

Cambridge is a lovely area full of culture and history. There are a number of museums to visit such as the fitzwilliam museum, displaying variations of art and cultural artefacts. Everything is within walking distance. However, should you wish to make use of the buses, they can sometimes be unreliable.

Cambridge offers something for everyone, whether you enjoy going clubbing, sitting in a pub or going for a walk along the river. There are plenty of options for food, and many different shops. which range in price, for shopping. If you own a bike it takes 5-15 minutes to get to most places.

Nights out can be pricey at certain places. Everything is expensive here. There is 2 main shopping centres, The grafton and the grand arcade which are close to each other and have some good shops.

Everything is very close, it is easy to walk everywhere. It is quite a small city so there isn't much to do but this doesn't affect me as a student. The food and shopping are brilliant and very easy to access by foot.

Cambridge is a beautiful place; although it is a city, it feels more more like a town. It has a distinctly fairytale feel to it, especially with all the old colleges lining the cobbled streets. Everywhere is easily accessible by bike, however, there are excellent connections to central London.

Cambridge is a beautiful place to live; although it is a city, it feels much more like a town. It has quite a fairytale feel to it, especially with all the grand colleges lining the cobbled streets. It has good train connections to central London. Everywhere is easily accessible by bike, which is very ideal!

More expensive than the North, but lots to do. Plenty of independent restaurants and chains, good clubbing scene but overpriced for what it is. Lots of nice cafes. Great big shopping centre with everything you need. Nice scenery with all of the college’s. Town gets too crowded with tourists on weekends.

Cambridge is really beautiful and there’s so much amazing history to immerse yourself in. It’s easy to get around by bike or bus (£1 for students and it goes everywhere you’d need to) but not by car so if people want to drive to see you they might want to think again, or use the park and ride. Nights out are fab, especially if you go to a themed night - book tix early to avoid queuing on the door though, that always kills the buzz. Pre well because drinks are a bit pricey and it’s better to save your money for the chip van before you walk back! Shopping is expensive in general - Aldi needs a bit of a cycle and Wilko is in the Grafton centre so a bit of a walk from most colleges, although if you visit the market you can get cheap fruit and veg. I’d suggest avoiding the Grand Arcade unless you need something in one of the shops there - it’s not got much for everyone and tends to only have the expensive end of each product. There’s loads to do for tourists but could probably be a bit more sports-wise - a climbing wall is coming soon but I wish there was an ice rink or more pool options. There is the University Sports Centre for most stuff so it has the basics, just not everything. Loads of places to eat out at all times of the day and some very good takeaways too - I recommend Curry Queen (free delivery too). Overall, I love it here!

It's good but there is a lot of homeless gorgeous buildings and good combination of shops if you are looking for a higher end shopping shop in the grand arcade but if you are on a budget go to the grafton

Shopping is great - town centre is small but so many fab shops are squeezed in! Also amazing choice of cafes and restaurants to try!

Great choice of clubs, bars and pubs, depending on the kind of night you want. The shopping is great, there is everything you’d need, but you do have to be wise as to when you go out!

Good shopping, very slow/ sleepy town. Most of the people are students or professors. The town is very picturesque and attractive.

There are lots of places local to shop for various items, whether that be food, gifts or clothing as well as musical instruments and books which aid learning. On top of that we are surrounded by nightclubs and pubs suited for entertaining nights out, with many transport links to other locations not too far away such as London, a popular hotspot for students.

Cambridge is a decent location with great transport links, being easy to reach by train. Plenty of pubs and clubs to statisfy those who enjoy the nightlife.

There is always loads of things to do, places to eat and events on. Bus and train travel is fairly cheap and allows you to explore the county.
