Great nightlife where everyone it's not overcrowded and there's never any trouble as people are just out for a good time. Lots of student nights which make going out great alive for money and good fun. 24 hour buses also make it very accessable

Brighton is a super cool city, it's amazing having a beach, the South Downs and the lanes - so many different things to do. Loads of different places to go for food and for nights out, really diverse and vibrant place to go to uni!

Some would say small but this city is by far my favourite city. Brighton has so much to offer for those in their younger days, and for those who refuse to grow up.

Overall the nightlife in Brighton is one of the best places to go, it is very diverse and has really nice areas to just chill

both beach and countryside - never gets boring - relatively quiet in winter, busy in summer - something different to do every night - surrounded by kind and understanding people

Brighton is simply an amazing place to live. Not only is the atmosphere so unique and diverse, you will never be lost for something to do! From exploring the lanes, to partying the night away at the vast array of nightclubs which cater for all, it truly is a beautiful city. In Brighton you don’t have to feel afraid to be yourself.

Brighton is the ideal location for a university student. Being in a small but busy city with a beach makes it the perfect transition from small town life to a fun city to spend three years of your life with. It’s so friendly and fun with a very kind and welcoming society.

Moving to the sunshine state of the UK was one of the best things I've ever done!! Sun, sea and so much in store for students! From amazing £3 nights out ending up smashed and stargazing on the beach to value-for-money shopping malls and lanes with student discounts everywhere! It is truly a dream uni location!!

There is so much to do in Brighton, you’re always close to the beach, the shopping centre, lanes. Can easily jump onto a train to Eastbourne, Lewes, Worthing. Devils dyke is always a great place to go for a walk. Nights out in Brighton are incredible, although can be fairly expensive. There are loads of pubs meaning you can spend a summers day having a pint with your housemates. Living in Brighton is great, although accommodation can be expensive; the experience as a whole is so worth it!

Sussex university was an amazing place to spend 3 years! Brighton is a magical place to live, the people are warm and friandly and there is always something to do. The best bars would be the hobgoblin or the pav tav. Campus won’t be the same without east slope as it’s being shut down. However it is very expensive to live in Brighton, my rent is far too high however it is understandable as Brighton is a popular place.

Brighton is the perfect student city. Offering the beautiful beach and iconic pier as well as plenty of cute idependent shops. It has hundreds of bars and clubs to choose from and a busy schedule all year round invluding festivals, concerts, markets and fun charity events. Brighton is a buzzing city, almost a mini London by the seaside.

Brighton is full of character - you'll always be able to find somebody else with the same random interests as you. I joined a 50 piece samba band and met such a great group of people. There's plenty of meetups and a really varied nightlife - you'll be able to find something to your taste! Loads of independent little shops and cafes which are fab and a small-scale town centre with a lot of the big names.

The town is great there’s always something going on whether it’s day or night ranging from art shows, comedy, live music gigs, dj’s at clubs. The town itself is so beautiful with the seaside on your doorstep you’re never far from it which is great in the hot summer days. In Brighton you can be anyone, wear anything, so whatever and no one will flutter and eyelash.. all people are welcome and there’s such a huge range of people. It’s hreat I love it, couldn’t have gone to university anywhere else... I just wish it wasn’t so expensive or the government loan would be raised like for London if you’re a student in Brighton.

Amazing location, with lots of cute quirky independent bars, pubs and restaurants. Quite pricey but worth it.

The nights out are fun and lively with a range of university students from Brighton and used university! Sussex is a campus university while also being 9 minutes away by train from the centre of busy Brighton! There is a shopping centre in the middle of town which has all the shops anyone would need !

I love living in Brighton! It’s safe, fun, and scenic. The beach is beautiful and there’s tons of amazing street art everywhere, and more shops than you could ever need. There are also a lot of cool bars (something for everyone!) and the nightlife is great too - especially The Haunt. Brighton is the best and I’ll be sad to leave next year!

Uni is right in the centre of town about a 4 min train away. Right by the beach and shopping centre

Brighton is epic. It's all here from pubs, bars, clubs, quirky shops, cafes, restaurants, thousands of free events and of course the beach. We have the festival in May...we have one of the most beautiful torch lit processions to celebrate the shortest day, we have PRIDE, we have Paddle Round the Pier, we have more food festivals than you can shake a falafel wrap at. I'm never bored..if anything I'm also trying to work out how I can cram in all the free things. And if you do need the big city, the London is a hop jump away on the train and for travels further afield, Gatwick is half an hour on the train. Seriously...get here. You won't leave after Uni.

Night out are great, plenty of choice every night for every taste - could do with more duh event based nights. Food is good, drinks are expensive! Close proximity to London makes everything very very expensive, but it’s london by the sea!!
