I love Birmingham! It's only a quick bus ride from campus (any x bus for only £1 with student card) to new street station and quick walk to bullring. At the moment (Christmas) the bull ring is decked out with Christmas decorations and lights as well as the German markets, selling hot mulled wine and churros- enough to get anyone in the Christmas spirit! I love how convenient it is, like a mini oxford street with all the must have shops including urban outfitters, Nando's and top shop.

I really like Birmingham. I have been living her since birth and to be honest there are so many places to go and see and discover. A night out is great as there are many restaurants available and there are so many great things on the menu. My favourite hobby has got to be shopping, however it does waste a lot of my money. If i had the chance i would go shopping all the time. I love my local area as there are many shops and also i love visiting the bullring and the new square in West Brom

Birmingham is a major city in England's West Midlands region, with multiple Industrial Revolution-era landmarks that speak to its 18th-century history as a manufacturing powerhouse. It's also home to a network of canals, many of which radiate from Sherborne Wharf and are now lined with trendy cafes and bars. In the city centre, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is known for pre-Raphaelite masterpieces.

Birmingham has so many activities and opportunities to enjoy a day out. From going shopping at the Bullring to going out to eat at the countless number of food courts and restaurants. Birmingham City Centre is always lively with people of all faiths and beliefs all around; there will never be a dull day out in Birmingham.

There are some good night's out and lots of events, something new every day. The trains allow you to get wherever you need to be if not an uber is a minute away. The markets are useful and there's a variety of choice of food

I moved to Birmingham 5 years ago, and besides the occasional trip home (overseas) or somewhere else in the country, I've never wanted to leave. Birmingham offers so much - entertainment and nights out especially, all easily connected by public transport, on which there are many offers.

Birmingham is a brilliant city to visit. It is mutli-cultural and has a lot to off in regards to history, tourist attractions and night life. The bull ring allows a brilliant shopping experience with the mailbox giving that fine dining experience. There is also Cadburys world and the black country museum for a great day out with the family.

Birmingham's great! As the UK's largest city there are loads of attractions and the city centre feels very compact so you become quickly familiar with the city. There are loads of options for where to eat out, the Bullring is a great place for shopping and there are plenty of good bars and clubs around. If you're looking for a church, there are plenty around of different styles ... check out Gas Street church!

Great for student who are struggling with money when living away from parents. Bullring has everything you need and restaurants are expensive. Student discount means a lot when going out with friends for shopping or going out to eat friends because we get to save money.

Birmingham is probably the best city to live in if you don't wanna experience the city life but not willing to spend a lot of money on everyday expenses unlike London. It has restaurants for every cuisine that you could ask for ranging from high end to low end. In terms of shopping we have the well known bullring and gran central which has every brand you could think of. Transport system is excellent here with connection to all the other cities and as for night outs we all know Birmingham is one of the most lit people living!

Although there are plenty of options and places to eat. There isn't much do for entertainment especially for those who prefer to stay active then eat.
