The city is so amazing, there isn’t one ugly part of it. The campus replicates this with a lake in the centre and a fountain that glows in the night. Clubs are decent and course has high quality lecturers and facilities.

The University is very good. It has a wide range of clubs and societies, and an extensive welfare support system. The University places a large focus upon mental health, and provides services for this. Teaching standards are very high, with many lecturers being leading researchers in their fields.

It is a very beautiful university to live on and study as a part of and has good facilities spread across both campuses but it can be a very busy place and often the library can be overpopulated making it quite difficult to find study spaces at certain times of the week.

University of York is great and it's department of English particularly outstanding and supportive. However the vice chancellor has been devoid of moral judgement during the strikes which is frustrating.

I am studying history and economics and the history department is perfect, I enjoy every time that I spend on my seminars and everything bit the economics department is aweful. For example last year I was writing my exam, a closed exam and it was miswritten, some questions. And this was an exam. And also, if you're studying a mixed degree, don't wait that anyone will know what you have to study, or how the things are going, you have to find out alone. But the history is perfect, really, my best decision in my whole life that I am studying history. And also, if you like economics maybe is not that bad too, but I have aweful experiences. Also, the careers is very good, I have found a part time job with this service and they are very helpful.

York is great. The collegiate system has something for everyone! From raising money for charity, a second family in college, bar crawls, cheap booze - I really couldnt imagine myself anywhere else.

The uni is very fun with lots of societies. The campus is nice and conviennent with plenty of cafes and restaurants for a quick bite or shop. There's a Santander bank located in the centre with plenty of books available on demand in the library.

Location is less than ideal however the bus services are good. The university itself is lovely in the bits that are new. Staff are friendly but more free parking should be available

The campus has a great buzz around it during the day. Most of the facilities on campus are great as they’re just a walk away.

Really pretty campus, easy to access everywhere on site as it’s within walking distance. The collegiate system is really good as it makes you feel part of a family

the campus might be a little brutalist and robotic but it’s a great place to go to uni and the opportunities to meet a wide range of people have been amazing

I love my university. Fact. The loving community is the most prominent factor for my love of York - colleges, societies and friendship groups have made my university experience exactly what it is.

Great academic institution capable of serving as a foreground for your career. As an university, the experience is what you make it and this is especially true with the university of York. A day on campus can range from beautifully full of exciting conversations and interesting interactions to a barren and asocial one. If you want to go out of your way to make the experience a worthwhile one it is definitely possible at this institution
