The University of Westminster

I graduated from the University of Westminster in 2018 and the campus I went is located in Regent's Street. What is great about the campus is that was close to everything. Everyday after classes you could go out for food or to enjoy your coffee in extremely busy Oxford street. Concerning the teaching staff, every lecturer was making the subjects really interesting to pay attention. What is more they were always willing to help all the students with any concern and ask any question. What also outstands from the university are the numerous resources and different departments available to our use.

The best part part of being at Westminster is that you have the possibility to connect your point of view and become friend with students from everywhere. This is not possible in Italy...

The recently developed Marylebone campus I am based in has developed into a wonderful area. The facilities along with the library has fully made sure I get the best experience in studying at the University of Westminster.

UofW is not one of the best universities in the country, however for a fairly small university the atmosphere and vibes are great. For myself my lecturers are quite engaging.. most of the time and it's not too much of an issue wanting to turn up to lectures! The best part about UoW is the location! CENTRAL LONDON, it's amazing!!

University of Westminster is an amazing school with such a diverse culture. It has every course possible and all of them are taught very carefully with a mix of theory and practical in it. London has various campuses around its city which are all different Universities of Westminster, many being for more creative courses than others. This way, it is easy to get along with people who study similar subjects to each other and also it is more efficient in terms of equipment and everything else.

Great uni, helpful staff and lecturers however some lectures are boring and uncreative. I like the location as it is very central and I'm really enjoying my course. I really enjoy tutorials

The facilities are great, you have libraries; places to borrow laptops; canteens and even vending machines. Overall University of Westminster has great staff, the campus Vice Presidents are the loveliest of people and the Student Union is more active this year than any other year. There is so much opportunity to get involved the only problem is the lack of lifts, there are many many steps to climb as the lifts are always busy.

My university gives us to an incredible amount of resources including 3D printing, laser cutting, pottery and that's all an extra to the things they provide for our courses. They also GIVE us a budget for our project - for example we're about to make documentaries and they are giving us £120 to make them.

Westminster university is a wonderful place full of opportunity and great classmates! Also there is plenty of extra curricular activities/clubs you can attend so you'll never have nothing to do! Also the facilities are amazing you can use laser cutters, 3D printing machines and loads more! More importantly you have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of other cultures as the university accepts many international students so it won't dissapoint!

I started studying at the university of Westminster this September and so far have been so happy with my experiences. When I attended the applicant day earlier in the year I totally fell in love with the regent street campus and starting here it has 100% lived up to expectations. The course itself is well organised and engaging. The lecturers are all incredibly knowledgeable about the topics they are teaching and seem genuinely passionate about their subject. The campus is clean and has lots of areas to hang out or study and the classrooms are easy to find and spacious. I've not really engaged much with the students union as I'm not living in halls and work a lot alongside my course so haven't really had the time or need to.

I think the campus I go to for lectures is a bit basic, the other campus' for my university have a lot more to them. Whereas my campus is pretty boring. I really do enjoy my course, I feel like I learn a lot of different things that peak my interest. The student union is easily accessible and very helpful. In terms of career services it's a bit difficult to get appointments to speak to a careers person.

The course I'm studying is biomedical science, it is very interesting due to the various modules that are available to study. You also pick an optional module which can also be a language. Student union hold many different type of events and there are many societies to join to make the student experience even more better. The facilities in general are very nice, such as the library.

The campus is welcoming and offers a great range of subjects to choose between. The building facilities are well organised as well the staff is always helpful with students. The university offers great career services through the organisation of meeting and lectures about career and employability opportunities. The library is amazing, it has a wide options of books, computers and areas both for silent studies and groups who enjoy studying together.

I currently study accounting at the University of Westminster. Overall my experience has been OK. It's not an amazing university and not a bad one for a number of reason. First and foremost the teachers with the exception with 2 feel very subpar. Their explanation can feel very poorly explained and i and many others would very often refer to the revision books for a clearer explanation. I spent last year at Brunel university and the teaching there feels better paced and explained. The campus and facilities however are quite good. There are 4 different campuses that are located very closely together and have their own features that students can make use of such as lounges for students and relax, socialise and revise with pool tables and table tennis and also a good and affordable student gym with standard gym equipment and boxing equipment (for when that uni stress hits you like a brick). One complaint however are the ventellation in some rooms are very poor and can feel very hard to concentrate when it is stinky and hot

At this uni, I have all the supplies and support I need to do my course, I'm very much enjoying studying here, and the library is second to none. Also, the gym inside the Regents campus is very handy for those who have to squeeze in a quick workout, providing you with showers and lockers. The room assignments make a lot of sense and it makes it easy for you to locate your room very quickly. Three lifts are provided for higher floors. It's helpful that there is a cafe in there as you can grab a quick bite to eat in between lecture and seminar

Being in the middle of London makes for a diverse experience in learning history. The building itself is beautiful and everyone is really friendly, always there to help and the student union is very helpful to new students.

Its a good uni most lecturers are really good and friendly however some departments are not as good as they could be like the languages department but it could be the type of resources used.

I couldn't have picked a better university, from the staff to the students that go here. Everyone is so welcoming and I made friends on the very first day. The different campuses are also very good, in particular Harrow campus and their Undercroft bar.

Very good atmosphere, the course is taught well and is very organised. There are lots of opportunities to grow available and a great range of societies to join.
