The University of Warwick

Campus is really nice which looks lovely in the summer. Some of the internals of buildings are a bit outdated and not much spending gone into it. Teaching for maths is great but not so much for computer science. I feel money is spent on some useful items around the university such as some sculptures but in general, the university is a nice university to be at.

The course I studied, history, was well organised and intellectually challenging. The lecturers and seminar tutors were always helpful. The humanities facility needs re doing, and we don’t have a common room, but that would be one of my main criticisms.

Nice campus, certain buildings are far to walk to but there's a free shuttlebus but not made clear how to use it. Good facilities, library open 24/7, helpful staff.

Christmas/end of term events. Other universities have balls/formals to celebrate and collectively get together before going off. Given everyone lives together on campus, throughout the year more could be organised for the students.

Great campus with almost all buildings within bearable walking distance. I take Economics and Warwick is established as one of the leading faculty in Economics, where the lecturers are great and classes are well structured. The syllabus is thought-provoking and exciting.

The University is located on the outskirts of the city yet allows one to have a great campus experience. The campus is well equipped with within budget restaurants, a theatre to serve as an entertainment point as well as the Terrace Bar for casual drinks.

Great campus university that incorporates a good mix of social life with hard work. A lot of integration occurs and cultural diversity through different societies. Could do with a few more restaurants on campus and cheaper bus fares.

Excellent university with world class teaching. The campus is very nice and contains many facilities including a large library. There could be more social options or catering options available, or even a supermarket on campus as the walk to tesco is quite long

The campus is quite spread out and a bus ride away from the nearest city. It's a nice campus with good shops, bars and restaurants. The facilities in the life sciences department are good with decent food too, the course is very tough however with lots of work and lots to learn. Constant exams, assignments and learning is hard. They capture the lectures so you can go back and watch them which is really helpful.

Warwick is a really safe and welcoming environment. The tutors are fantastic and in many cases famous experts in their fields. Th Students' Union is active and the campus facilities are incredible. The learning facilities are fantastic, especially the library and the support available throughout the university is unmatched. My only complaints about the university are that there is not enough independent learning space for all the students at exam time and the campus is very isolated from city life.

A fantastic University. Excellent facilities and campus. The extra curricular society and on-campus social life is great, with a number of nice cafes and places to watch sports. However, it's too far from Leamington.

Very nice and helpful lecturers, modern buildings, big and useful library, great people. Everything in one place so you don't need to travel a lot and you can feel safe

Uni of Warwick is a well ranked University in the UK. However, if you're thinking about studying there, you need to know that the campus, although big and nice, is quite far from either Leamington Spa and Coventry (which are city centres). It wouldn't be an issue if the bus wasn't always late ... but guess what? It is. On the other hand, the SU offers a lot of sport, cultural activities. I think that Warwick is a very good University and has a lot to offer but still need to think twice before picking up the location of your accommodation!

Warwick is a really lovely uni with such a beautiful campus! It is a small-ish university and only has one campus, unlike others e.g. Nottingham. There is so much to do and so many different activities for example societies, sports centre and the copper rooms club on campus. I am in my final year and have had the opportunity to browse other universities but this would still get my top pick.

Great campus, good courses and teaching is of an excellent standard. Regular SU nights and other events, lively culture and full of wonderful people.

The teaching standard is of course very high, but by being in a very isolated location, it makes going out in first year (when living on campus) a lot harder, and commuting from off campus is a real pain . The sports facilities are great as are the teaching rooms. Some parts of campus are now getting quite outdated but progress is always being made to make everything always look new .

I'm an exchange student for only 1 term. I like the teaching method here in warwick even though it's a bit challenging for me since lecturers back in my home university will spoom feed us. I like the attitude of students here i can see their passion on the course they doing. They are active i during the lecturers. All in all, eerything is nice here just the food on campus a bit overpriced

Warwick is a prestigious univerrsity, and with its popularity comes a lot of benefits that students get to enjoy. The careers fair always attracts big name companies, so it makes life easier for students looking for internships and grad placements. The campus is located in Coventry, so it can get a bit boring, but Birmingham and London are only a short train/bus ride away. The SU also tries to make up for this by having several on-campus parties, clubs, and events. I study economics, a social science, but it's fairly easy for me to pick modules from other departments e.g. languages and humanities.

Great for post grad courses, a bit secluded for undergrads as quite far from cities. Would recommend a car if going.

Great corse and academic staff, buildings not great and not enough study space. The SU and facilities are good but they charge you too much for the sports centre and access to sports societies

My English Literature course is fantastic, a lot of variety and some excellent modules of literary theory. Also, the first year which consists of all core modules is invaluable as a grounding. The campus isn't great, the architecture is very ugly and it can be difficult to navigate. The Student Union as a building is very small and not very good for meeting other students as the music is pretty loud, in terms of an association I think it does pretty well and the sabbatical officer system is reasonably effective. The sports hall is a great facility as there is even a pool on campus. In terms of living off campus, the main place where students live (Leamington Spa) is a long way from campus! The other areas you can live in aren't exactly the nicest and are still around a 40 minute walk or a 15 minute bus ride from campus (as opposed to the ½ hour non-rush hour ride from North Leamington - most students live in the South but I have really enjoyed living in the North)

Best from studying engineering at Warwick is WMG. Good research and good job opportunities afterwards, working close with industry. Nice facilities, and well equipped labs. Excellent battery centre (energy innovation centre). Competent staff in most cases. Again WMG better than school of engineering.

Big campus with loads to do - loads of restaurants, 1 club and few shops Course - Law - hard but challenging and interesting, good employability stuff too especially for the corporate world Loads of things to do like societies and clubs etc

Course is fantastic. I love the English literature course - so much choice and freedom. I wouldn’t have enjoyed myself quite as much anywhere else. Campus is very brutalist - all concrete. Very poorly connected. Ends up feeling a little isolating. The big screen on campus is the worst. English department is not too well organised. Student union means well but it’s very marketised. Warwick is a fantastic university but it tries to hard to sell its students ideals and products and at the same time to sell its own students as products - if it stopped trying to be a business and tried to be more of a university it would be better.
