The campus is modern and clean, with each buildings representing a shape (e.g. camera, books). The campus is nice and there's a lot of green around the campus. In my informatics department, the facilities are excellent with the latest technologies. The course (computer science Foundation year) has helped me lay the foundation to stepping up to first year.

The campus is beautiful; it's the only one in the UK that is situated within the grounds of a national park. The university is also research-oriented and lecturers are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their chosen fields. Facilities are generally OK, but suffer from overcrowding and excess demand (i.e. computers, library space, etc.). The Student's Union is very inclusive and works hard to provide students with safe spaces, opportunities, activities and creative outlets.

Very busy campus, I would argue too many students. But it is really pleasant and the library is a fantastic resource. The location is lovely and the teaching staff know their subject inside and out 8/10 times. Oftentimes the workload can be overwhelming and support is harder to come by than advertised but it’s worthwhwile and I would definitely recommend the university for anybody who is willing to put in the effort for their degree.

Really dependent on course I feel, I did both my UG and PG studies here. For my undergrad they were very supportive of me needing to retake a year due to health concerns and facilitated this well. However, academically I barely had any contact time with academic advisors. For my PG I don't feel my course was very well organised and we weren't told enough about assignments/getting our results proved a bit of a shambles. Additionally, they wouldn't issue any parking permits which made life pretty hard getting to and from campus if you didn't live in brighton like myself.

Halls are a bit shabby but fun. Course (English Lit) is great and there is a lot of support throughout the uni if you have any problems.

The campus is situated in the middle of the Sussex downs so it's really beautiful. It's far enough from the main town that you get a good campus experience but also close enough so you don't miss out on the great nightlife of Brighton. We have a huge 24 hour library and the students' union is really passionate about student experience, always hosting interesting and exciting events.

Beautiful campus just chilling in the middle of the South Downs, everything around campus is really green and the all the buildings look really pretty as well. Great Student Union bars, shame that they are getting rid of the beloved East Slope though (RIP). What more can I say...? Oh yeah there are loads of baby rabbits that run around campus at night as well

Sussex universe provides the highest level of teaching for all students within the business and management course. The only thing is with the following elective which is finance the tutors and people who lead the lectures take the easy root and do not record all the lectures compared to other subjects.

Love the one campus environment that sussex offers surrounded by the South downs and close to the sea with great night life

Lovely campus with a whole range of things to do for students! The MBBS course in partnership with the university of Brighton, is an fantastic course which prides it self with high student satisfaction for the recent years. Very supporting and adequately equips students to become good doctors.

Basically the university is a rip off just like any other, only in it to make as much cash as possible and give money to the underseving staff including the vice chancellor who literally does nothing

The campus is bleak and empty at weekends, leaving first years somewhat isolated from the excitement of Brighton. Brighton used to be great but appears to priced out a lot of the interesting people. The library is too crowded and not a cosy place to work. Teaching time is limited and can leave you under occupied. The best part of my course was my year at a US university to be honest.

Medical school: Plenty of support from staff Interesting modules and early patient contact Plenty of placements throughout years 1 and 2 followed by 3 fully-clinical years Campus is very lively and the library is great for revision. Night life is very good.

The student care is not up to scratch with what it should be. All in all the halls (except those that are extortionate in terms of prices) are not liveable and should not be offered in the state that they are in. I have been sorely disappointed with how administration staff and many lecturers have treated myself and other students. Some academics are amazing and the clubs and societies are very good! I think people choose this University for the location, as Brighton is such an incredible place, however the actual University is below average.

I like the campus everything is very walkable and spacious. The amount of green life is amazing. There have been many times where I think back to myself and realise that a lot of the essential things I’d need is on campus, sports, food, acitivities and lots more.

I study at BIMM London. My Music Business course has been validated by the University of Sussex. I really like studying here. I believe my tutors are very knowledgeable and I'm learning as I've never learned before. All the resources are appropriate and the learning pace is correct. Never had an issue. Currently working on my assessments and I'm quite enjoying handling them. It's the first time I have such a great time on my studying and researching.

The campus is beautiful and well maintained, particularly in the summer. My course (English Language and Linguistics) is well run and well organised. The lecturers are all incredibly experienced in what they do and go out of their way to help everybody.

The university of Sussex has a really bright and clean campus, the library being one of the most prominent buildings and Jubilie building being a nice modern building with loads of glass. The teachers are very well trained and are nice enough to tak to if you need any help.

The campus is perfect, plenty of green spaces, a co-op and places to eat! East Slope and Falmer Bar are great places to eat and have a few drinks, whilst Eat Central is good for a quick hot lunch. My course is brilliant, very engaging and very good lecturers! Overall, a brilliant uni with a perfect balance of a great social life and great teaching.

Great university! I'm studying Business and Management Studies, and I have to admit that I have the best tutors I could ask for. All of them also have a great experience that is motivating the students to do the same as them. The campus is really nice, with excellent facilities.

Sussex unuversity has a lovely campus and is very green. Teaching is often to a very high standard and staff and students are very friendly. The university offers several different societies and actovities and is very culturally diverse. However, the university is often very left winged and can often be very political.
