I am a first year Tourism Management student. The lectures are quite good and I am excited to see what it will be 2 year

Well equipped, and modern university. Coming into my final year and there have been quite a few changes since being at the university. For example the library has undergone renovations, where the facilities have been extended and improved. The course I am on has a full timetable with a massive array of lessons, with very qualified teachers. The university supports students in every kind of way, emotionally and academically.

Lovely univeristy, made me feel welcome when I arrived. Teachers are very invested and the campus is absolutely beautiful. Lovely green and fresh air, a great place to live for 3 years. I really love my course and freshers week was amazing fun. They are moving towards fixing timetabljngbissues which I appreciate and are constantly asking for feedback for further improvements which makes me feel like my opinion matters.

It’s great place to study and has everything you ask for beautiful place and friendly staffs and people Good service available do do

They don’t invest in student housing which is the biggest problem, especially when the prices are way to high in the surrounding areas. This makes it difficult to experience the ‘student life’ or even to focu on studies when you have to travel from far (if you can’t get a place) or worry about rent (if you do get a place).

University of Surrey is a good and fun place. Lecture facilities are new, online learning support system is amazing. Lecturers voice record some lectures on my course and it’s really convenient.

Surrey is a wonderful place, I love my course (Veterinary Medicine) and the people I share experiences with. The accommodation is good and there’s lots to choose from. Nightlife is a bit boring but there’s plenty of pubs and bars to compensate! The best thing about my uni is that they listen to our views and are happy to change parts of the course/general life to make our experiences better.

Beautiful campus with fantastic facilities, including a huge sports centre. Chill by the lake, go clubbing at Rubix and there's plenty of space to study in the library

Great university, beautiful campus and amazing faculty. The support towards international students is great. The sports park is one of the best in the UK and has almost all sports facilities.

The university campus is great, I enjoy the views of the lake and greenery and find it calming when revising. Student support is there such as tutors willing to talk and the Centre for Wellbeing and SPLASH for essay writing although this could be improved upon as they are not always available and often do not provide the help required. I enjoyed my stay at halls in first year and found a sense of belonging. I struggle with the length of my course as it continues on into the summer months but this is something I knew before applying. Careers services are not applicable to me, I have not accessed them.

I had the best 3 years of my life here. Great people with great study. I would recommend any student considering university to study a the university of Surrey and would highly encourage them to take part in as many society’s as possible because Surrey has many!! The learning facilities are fantastic too and the campus is the most beautiful campus you will see in the this country. It definitely feels like a privilege studying at this university. At least come to one of its many open days and see for yourself what it’s like.

The campus is relatively big including the off campus residential area. The facilities are comprehensive including a huge sports park. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a variety of student associations.

The universe is very modern. The campus is large and spread throughout Guildford. This is annoying due to travel and csn be very expensive depending how far you like from the campus. The student accommodation is good in the more expensive rooms but in the lower paying rooms it’s not very modern and buildings have faults like broken jobs and phones not working.

Location and campus can't be faltered, however, they are taking on more and more students so the campus is pushed beyond its limits, and I didn't feel my course was what it was advertised at the time of application, and I also don't think they helped at the level they should to help students with their next steps after leaving university. The Surrey Sports Park provides amazing facilities!

It's a great place. Good facilities, good location and nice environment. Don't regret my choice at all.

The university has a well structured learning approach and the staff is really helpful. Help is provided in different departments when required and the details of who to approach are always made clear.

The university itself is very diverse full of life and broad for all types of students, the classes allow you to engage in the subject you love and learn with the full experience and gives you full of opportunities for what you want to do. The campus is beautiful, the large space allows students to feel free and the greenery just Brings everything to life.

Absolutely appalling organization, incompetence and complete neglect! As a resit student, I requested to retake 2 semester 1 modules and 2 from semester 2. I communicated this to the university back in September 2017. However, it got to a fortnight before semester 2 commenced yet I still didn’t have my full timetable or learning room access. I sent an email to admin to rectify this but received no response until 2 weeks into the semester by which point I had missed 2 weeks worth of teaching! Only found out that one of my modules had been restructured completely by this point which caused me further confusion and distress. I should have received this information much much earlier! Additionally, I was only informed that my dissertation proposal was due in the day before it had to be in - I still don’t even have access to a learning room to upload this in the first place! For my latest assessment, it stated on the Surrey Learn that it should have been issued on the 23rd March but the brief was not uploaded until 2 weeks after that. The stress of having to complete this assessment in such a short space of time is seriously impacting both my physical and mental health. I was only informed today about a professional portfolio that every student should be completing along with weekly translation studies seminars (these have been taking place since October) which I have received no information on either. Missing these lectures means that it is very unlikely that I will complete the portfolio - my professional status is now in jeopardy along with my academic status! I have been completely disregarded and dismissed just because I am a resit student!

The course is well organised all though some lectures from different modules over lap each other so your learning the same thing twice so that could be addressed to save time waste but the facilities are amazing and the student Union is well organised and the location is great

The campus of the university of Surrey is very green and lovely to walk around, it was very relaxing with the lake. The organisation of the university could be better but overall the teaching quality was excellent and I recieved help when I needed it most. The careers service was great offering help with CVs, interview preparation workshops and placement mock interviews ready for my year in industry. The SU was also good with a lot of student involvement especially amongst the many societies abundant on campus.

I've had a great time at Sussex and will be very sad to leave in July. I would recommend anyone thinking about here to apply/accept their offer!

Good quality of air and relaxed place to live. High quality of university library which has 5th floor included group work room, individual study place, silence space etc. High quality of education by good professors. Good university accommodation with cheap price.

Some buildings could do with being modernised but the majority are sufficiently equipped. Maybe need some more larger lecture theatres. Surrey Sports Park has excellent facilities.

The campus is like a little village for us, the students, and is great in terms of the interaction it encourages between students from a lot of different cultures. The library is a great place to study, being a really pleasant environment that manages to keep you focused while being there - there are no distractions. Also, the library provides the students with a lot of facilities, such as computers, laptops, printers, let alone the large variety of books. My course - International Event Management - is the best I could dream of. You can see that the lecturers and the module leaders have a genuine interest in your development and employability. They offer us a lot of opportunities to practically learn what we are studying, such as volunteering or paid event opportunities.
