Overall the Strathclyde campus is lovely and the staff are very welcoming to new students. The facilities are well maintained and relatively modern. The library is accessible and relatively large and has a large variety of study spaces.

Overall I think that Strathclyde has a lovely campus. The main problem I have with it is that the buildings are quite spread out however they are very up to date and mostly modern. The library is very spacious and modern and there is a canteen which provides good vegetarian options.

I’m studying mechanical engineering in first year and overall the university is very good and the staff are very supportive and welcoming

Great location with many eating places/facilities close by. Very well considered university with excellent pass marks and a good range of sports and courses to study. Experienced lecturers with passion to help students succeed. Lacks a main area for students to gather eg. Main food hall or communal area. Good library but needs more computers and quiet spaces. Not the best for helping students meet new Friends

The Uni itself is amazing, the buildings are all close together and the majority of lectures are enjoyable, however, sometimes whilst sitting at the back of the lecture hall you won't be able to hear the lecturer speak so you'd just be fast asleep and some buildings are mazes that you spend half your time navigating to find the right class. The community feel is not that great, unlike highschool where everyone knows each other and has some sort of relationship, uni is an entirely different ball game, depending on your ability to socialise you'll either have a blast or be miserable, on the plus side you get a lot of free time to study/work/go on holidays so you can structure your life around how you wish to live. The uni requires a minimum of 40% in each subject for a pass onto 2nd semester which is so very easily achievable in 1st year as long as you put in minimal effort. I'd like to also mention that it is very multicultural so that's a plus. Overall very good.

Facilities are being worked on and there is lots of new developments, but the parts that haven't been updated feel very dated.

Campus is nice and spread over. Course that I do is pretty competent and challenging. The faculty try to help out whenever possible. It has been a wonderful experience for me to study at this university. The university has a large number of foreign students so you get to connect with people all over the world. The campus is pretty close to the city center and the train station so commuting was never a problem.

I believe the campus and the facilities are great, I however feel the teaching is not so good. I think the university takes into consideration the needs for the variety of students it hosts with great wellbeing services and disabled access but I think modernisation would be helpful overall.

The Student Union doesn't have as many events on but I love the campus and the new gym and its an amazing place to be in

Good location as it is a twenty minute walk max from the station to Strathclyde. Layout can be a bit confusing but get used to it. The library is good but may need to be expanded or be done up as it looks a bit old.

Very friendly atmosphere around campus and Glasgow in general Great location- can easily walk to anywhere you need to go Great new gym

The campus is very close-knit and you can reach one side to the other within a 10 minute walk (but the horrible Montrose Street Hill will set you back). I'm part of the strathclyde business school and although it's veey challenging, I always find it rewarding to look back on and everything I do will benefit me in the long run. They have an amazing business school reputation for a reason.

Strathclyde is a very nice university, the campuses are modern and have a large variety of resources available to students. For those who prefer older looking building there is the royal college campus. We also have a large library and very good sports facilities. The Union is good too, it has a fair amount of places to eat or have a drink. The only problem i think that the place is not very centralised which means you could find yourself running from one campus to another.

The buildings are not very logical so I get lost quite often, but they are beautiful! I love all the events which are organised during the year. And I really love the Strathclyde foodsharing group! All the facilities (water taps, toilets, etc.) in the university are good and well maintained. I will miss Strathclyde after I'm done with my Masters.

The campus is in the city centre so great access to everything in Glasgow. Union is a great hang out spot. The library is really good and with a new sports facility getting built so will the gym.

The university is very efficient for some courses, but not others. I, personally, felt that my experience was lacking - poor nightlife, and lack of opportunities to form friendships for those who are living at home rather than in halls.

Strathclyde is a load of fun- a recent £15million renovation is paving the way for improved sports facilities and a better learning environment

I love Strathy, don’t regret my choice to study here! Love the union and the social life. We need a new library but.

Location is fantastic. I'm so close to so many different transport links meaning my selection for accomodation is quite good. Finding somewhere to live directly beside the campus is quite expensive but I live 4 miles away and it may as well be next door thanks to the bus and it saves over £300 a month on rent. Facilities are great, some aspects of the campus are a little dated but they seem to be renovating.

Strathclyde university is beautiful but I do find that the inside of the buildings can sometime be outdated. Also, because there are so many buildings, it is very confusing where is what. In some cases, I have had lectures in different buildings and because they were so far away, it was practically impossible to make it in time to the class. Therefore, I wish it was a little more organised sometimes.

The university teaching and quality of staff is fantastic. The availability of resources is not great, and leaves students fighting for less than adequate time slots and available technology. However the student union is great, and is currently being expanded

So far I have really enjoyed my time at this university. The library is one of the best aspects of it.

The campus is in the city of centre of Glasgow with easy access from anywhere. It is a 5 minute walk away from the largest shopping street. There are many facilities in Strathclyde university, a brand new sports facility is being built and due to open Summer 2018 with new gym equipment and swimming pool. The lecturers are supportive and helpful whenever need be. Overall, there is a good student experience at Strathclyde.

Love the campus and how everything is close by and feels like a small village. University is supportive and help is there if you need it. Enjoy my course (Pharmacy) and I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given with it. Glad I came to this university!
