The archery club at Sheffield are very welcoming, and friendly. Its quite oversubscribed in the first term, as you have to pass a beginner's course for safety reasons. This means you don't shoot many arrows in each session for the first couple of weeks, but as people pass the course and move on to more specific training, you start to get more arrows down range. All the equipment is provided, and the committee are happy to advise on any equipment you might want to get. A fair few socials happen, over a range of types. We've had paintballing, lazer quest, and of course the good old night out. I'd definitely recommend this club to others!
