The University of Reading

Great spacious campus, facilities are generally good (although I feel like there should be more water fountains available for use). Decent student union with enjoyable events out on however events are all very similar (should expand ideas)

I love the campus. I like the facilities and think the social side is really good such as sports and union. Furthermore, the library is a massive issue. I genuinely believe I should receive money back seeing as I will not be able to use the full library the whole time I'm at uni. I dislike my course. I feel the uni itself is very disorganised and they have no idea how to deal with it. So many issues have arisen due to lack of organisation. I'm not sure if that is just my department but I have heard similar things from friends.

The campus is improving however the facilities within the students union could be better. The campus is very leafy and has a nice atmosphere. It is also in a very nice location and to other good cities.

Good campus, wellbeing and careers services and very good student union, with good nights out and good bars, pub quizzes etc. But the library has been in refurbishment for the entire time I've been there and so has the student union for the last terms. The psychology department promisses a lot of support and guidance but when it comes to it no one replies to email/queries. A lot of things within the department are very poorly planned and just don't make any sense.

Not quite been the life-changing experience I was hoping for but still year abroad and 4th year to go

I have loved the last few years at Reading but recently it’s got worse. The library is being renovated and the alternative study spaces are far from sufficient despite the unions efforts. The main room of the union is also being renovated so my last term at uni our SU club is half closed. The strikes have affected reading with little support from the union or our schools to replace content time and exams have not be changed accordingly. Unfortunate that Reading has gone down hill recently.

The campus is very picturesque and there is a lot of green space. The students union is probably the best club around. The problem is the library which is being refurbished so it can be a struggle finding anywhere to sit. The course is quite well organised.

the campus is pretty but there aren't enough events on. More live music events involving the students and things to create a buzz around campus would be great

The campus and facilities are great, so are most of the halls. The marking and online services aren’t great.

Good overall, but development work for the library is taking a stupid amount of time and deadlines keep getting pushed back. Poor communication between lecturers with impossible expectations of workloads.
