Was full of events that were varied and affordable allowing you to get involved and meet new people

Freshers was very good. I lived in a house first year so it was harder to make friends but I already knew a few people before coming which helped. I would say deffo try to go to s lot of the events as it gives u an opportunity to meet people.

Good week, lots of events planned was a good chance to meet new people and settle in to uni feeling more relaxed

Moving in was very easy and straight forward for me. The student union was offering a freshers pack which gave me access to special events. I didn't get to go to all of the events but the ones i did go to were really good. One of the best parts of freshers was meeting so new people.

Uni is great for those who want to be independent and live on there own. Freshers week is expensive, but worth it as you meet so many new people!

Overall freshers week was organised well but it was a bit confusing what events where happening where and if it's worth buying the wristbands on the door or buying freshers pack beforehand. I had good times during freshers, so definitely worth it.

There were not many options for people who are not into clubbing like me (or at least I didn’t see anything interesting going on freshers week). People go out literally every night during freshers, so you better save your money up and get ready. Part of it is fun because you meet new people. But don’t worry,if you don’t go as much becuse you will not miss out.

Freshers week is the start of your amazing journey in Portsmouth. Eskimo run fresher events and it's definitely better to by the pack as opposed to individual tickets. If you have gotten in touch with your flatemates, get them together! There is normally good performers, especially during the freshers ball. Definitely worth doing good value for money too! Freshers fair is a must, free pizza, toiletries and loads of discounts!

I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy freshers week at first as I don't drink much but I ended up finding lots of different activities which didn't include getting mega drunk and they were great!

Club events were really good. So many great artists came down. Variety of music in clubs. Cheap drinks so overall freshers was real good

The university is amazing, most of the lecturers are really helpful, so for any new students who are coming to the university of Portsmouth my advice would be. Don’t be afraid to put your hand up and ask if you don’t understand something in lecture as most likely other people don’t understand like you. So you will all benefit

Was easy to move in, didn't get halls so ended up straight in a house, the uni helped us find others and a house. Freshers was good, lots of good events and reasonably priced

Lots to do, but always could be more free stuff- I'm not one to complain about that. Friendly atmosphere and made a lot of new friends that I've stuck with ever since. I'd give it 10 Goldblums out of a possible 10 Goldblums.
