So far, the university experience has been great with amazing lecturers and support! Library opening for 24/7, SU organising a range of activities and events. Yet sometimes i do heard negative comments from other courses, but definitely none in the health profession! Lecturers are not only knowledgeable but also great in delivering lectures, making sure you understand all the learning outcomes after lectures.

Underfunded mental health support but overall not a bad uni. Good library facilities and cafes and coffee shops, varies what course you do as to the quality of teaching.

University campus is well maintained and contains plenty of facilities. There are always places to work with a library open 24/7 with plenty of resources. The student union is good, plenty of events of varying genres.

Lovely seaside town with great student environment. Small city so everything is close together. Good clubs and bars. Lots of bars down north hill so good for bar crawls. Uni accommodation is good and close together. I do medicine. The course is good and my year group is very close

I've had a great time at Plymouth Uni. It is a campus uni so everything is close together and easy to get to, all within short walking distance. The library has just been refurbished and has good seating, a decent variety of books and excellent access to online archives and resources. Loads of little cafes which are well priced and serve food too. The lecturers are inspiring and give really helpful advice which is good for writing essays. Lots going on such as careers fairs, food stalls, and a big effort for summer ball. There are lots of services which the uni offer to help you make the most of your experience and give you support. The careers hub will help you adjust your cv and give you advice and guidance when applying for graduate jobs.

This is a really great uni to attend. The staff are really friendly and welcoming and I felt like I fit straight in to my course and was offered the right support and advise to begin with.

Small compact campus that has everything you need including a 24 hour library and lodes of cheap cafes for students to use. Plenty of up to date facilities with the lastest technology. There is huge career support as well as volunteering and placement. The team provide free sessions to help with CV as well as interviews.

I went to Plymouth university for 4 years. I did my 3 year degree here but loved it so much I stayed for my Masters degree. I couldn't really fault a lot. The library was amazing. Open 24/7 and had so many resources. The SU was great - I spent most nights out here as it is a great environment with cheap drinks. Would 10/10 recommend.

Campus is easy to get around, I studied Psychology, most of the lecturers are very easy to get in contact with and give good presentations.

It's a good university for modern subjects, like engonengine - phycology. There are some issues that I think most places have. Some of the lectures don't seem to be as organised as they should be, but they are more than welcome to help. Only about 5-10% of the lectures are like this, but it can massively of out you from understanding the topic and module they're teaching.

Starting of with the campus, it is lovely and spaced out. It is never over crowded and never cramped. The facilities including the 24hour library is amazing and it becomes very useful if you have a deadline coming up! The student union is also one of the best I have been in with two good sized bars with many pool tables. The student union always has events on which is a great way to socialise and meet new people or to catch up with some course mates!

The campus is in a fantastic location right in the centre of the city. A large shopping centre is located within 500 metres of the which is great for clothes purchases. Lots of small supermarkets such as Tesco express and Sainsbury's local are also located nearby. I study business management and this is a fantastic course for anyone looking to start their own business or work in a large organisation in the future. The university is also very modern and the library has just been refurbished and now includes iMac computers and a small cafe. The university is also all located in a very close area all on one campus which means it's not far to access any lecture hall if you live nearby.

Specific to my course: dentistry, I think plymouth university offers many facilities and opportunities that you wouldn't get elsewhere, the main benefit being that we are on clinic and treating real patients from first year, allowing us to gain experience so early on in the course. I think its very important to gain these clinic and manual skills from the start as these skills take years to master and so when we graduate we will be more confident in a clinical environment as we will have been exposed to it for so long.

It's a good uni, with a great student feel! Lots of great fresher events, close to the city centre! The course is okay, needs better organising! However, there is a great support system here for mental health and studies!

overall plymouth is a good university which offers a range of opportunities and advice for both your degree and for your future after your degree.
