Good reputation, okay night life but the nights out die pretty quickly and get replaced by worse ones

Campus is large so often is 10/15 minute walk to lectures. However it’s a very scenic campus to walk through so the walk tends to go quickly. Very easy to find your way around. Course is on the whole well structured with some areas being better than others.

Nice uni most lectures don’t care about students though and don’t reply to emails so needs improvement but the campus and city are nice and material is interesting

University of Nottingham has an amazing campus and unbelievable sports facilities. Furthermore the city has great night life and a huge student community.

Good student evironment on campus. easy to find buildings on campus, SU is close by and a lovely lake to stop by. Support is very good for each individual department and career services.

The sports facilities available to students at the David Ross Sports Village are exceptional. The size of the centre alone ensures that you can book badminton courts or the outdoor football pitches on short notice.

Great course and beautiful campus. The welfare services are amazing and the lecturers are really supportive. Lots of opportunities for trips away too!

Unnecessary construction on campus instead of focusing on fascilities valuable to students. Poor communication from admin reagrding timetable.

Nottingham campus is beautiful, lots of green space and gardens, as well as some magnificent buildings, and a lake in the adjoining Highfields park. New sports centre, whilst quite expensive, is worth it with all the new facilities. I'm in one of the cheapest of halls, not on campus (Albion house), and it has its problems but I've got a decent sized room and all the facilities are adequate. Could do with a social area other than the courtyard though. Natural sciences here is a brilliant course, although sometimes we seem to be a bit out of the loop as it's a very broad course. Sometimes organisation seems to be lacking, especially with timetabling.

Great support and great learning environment. Application process was really simple and I am enjoying my course, the opportunities for new students are great and I would recommend the university to anyone. Close to the city and good for night life and student union events. The teaching is excellent and thorough. My experience hAs been positive overall and I look forward to two more years

Beautiful campus with lecturers who really engage with and care about the students. Administration is a little unorganized with timetabling, but that can be looked passed. Great school.

The campus of the university of Nottingham is very big and I believe it provides a conducive atmosphere to study and also participate in extra curricular activities. The academic staff is extremely helpful and distinguish in the subjects they teach. Student satisfaction is their priority and they take it quite seriously. Frequent meetings are held by the course directors with the students to improvise on the structure of the course. Overall I did not find any problems with anything at the University. Loved the huge campus and the atmosphere it provides.

The main campus has a range of facilities including libraries, common rooms and places to eat. It has a range of bus services so it is easy to travel to and from my accommodation which is off campus.

I am studying at the university of Nottingham at the medical school located in qmc. This university has been absolutely outstanding - the lecturers have such incredible knowledge to give their students and are completely dedicated to increasing their students knowledge.

The campus boasts of its big lush greenery environment, making it a very condusive and ideal place to study. Over here it is not just about studying but the night life in Nottingham is just as fantastic as any other major cities like manchester, Birmingham etc.

I've been a student here for around 3 years now and I love every aspect of this uni. From my first week, in my chosen halls (Raleigh Park) were excellent at getting us all involved in the menu freshers activities that were available and it was easy to get from there to the university and to the city centre if I desired. The uni it's self was quite difficult to navigate as it was such a big campus, but I soon got used to it. The medical school is very near by and and the campus it's self is very stunning. Be careful of the geese though! Overall ive loved studying at this uni and recommend it highly to anyone and everyone! Been very supportive of mental health issues I have had

To sum up Nottingham it is an all round amazing uni. The campus is great (with a shiny new sports centre), the social side is amazing and the buzz on campus is really enjoyable. The sports teams are all a really high standard, the nightlife to go with being in a sports team in notts is phenomenal and the city itself is pretty decent (even if the locals are a bit dodgy).

Our university is campus based but within 10 minutes drive to the city centre, so you can get the best of both worlds. Excellent transport links onto campus and in between all campuses. The careers service plays a vital role throughout your course, sending you internship, placement and graduate opportunities in order to help advance your career. They also provide mock interviews and tests for grad jobs. My experience of this university has been amazing! The support, the lecturers and facilities are of high quality. The city itself is vibrant and has a lively atmosphere due to it being highly populated with students.

The campus is so gorgeous and well kept with a huge variety of buildings both old and new. The new sports centre is amazing with a huge climbing wall and great classes on offer. My course, Psychology, is not the best organised, we have so little contact time and I feel like this is detrimental to us. We don’t have seminars, only lectures and lab classes.

On Sutton bonington campus. A lovely open and family like campus which is lovely to be able to study at. The Campus however has a college feel. Everyone knows everyone and at times feels rather gimicy. Difficult to access but everybody here is lovely and an easy campus to make friends and get involved in SB activities.

Overall the uni is good. I pove my course and it is really well run (vet course). The only problem is im based on the sutton bonnington campus which is really far from notts and makes you feel quite excluded. The uni doesnt really do anything to include and while there is a hopper bus this no longer runs to where the majority of the students live! As it really rural this has been an issue for people to get to campus as there are no other public transport alternatives.

I'm a third year at nottingham now and absolutely love the social life at notts (especially the night out), and the location!! I'm at sutton bonington campus (so its miles out of town - £25 taxi home) however Kegworth is a lovely little town. The campus is really lovely too however some of the courses structures and organisation of courseworks and exams are slacking compared to other universities.

Great uni, lots of people. Generally good atmosphere. The gym is huge but also costs a fair amount. Careers wise Nottingham is pretty on it with a lot of help available to those who want it.
