Overall a good university would be better if there was a car park for students to use as the buses are very unreliable

Good new campus. New facilities and the accommodation is new but sometimes the things in the accommodation break. Overall good uni and enjoyable, please sort out the parking!

The new campus is really pretty. It is huge and right near a river and very modern looking. However, my biggest issue is the lack of student parking. It's quite shocking that a new campus was built and students needs weren't even taken into consideration.

The university of Northampton has many positive aspects of it. One being the fact that it is easily accessible by bus, and with a student card, the bus is very cheap.

Good location, amazing facilities but the wifi often lack and when submitting an assignment and it drops out is not helpful. Good student help available from mental health to social acceptability.

The university has built a new, beautiful campus- Waterside. New and innovative buildings make it feel like a free and open space, giving positive vibes for new learning experiences. As beautiful as the new campus is, it is very obvious sometimes that the experiences are new to everyone, not just the students. There have been issues with internet connections, accommodation, timetables, etc. However, university is always trying their best to respond quickly and are happy to help and support everyone in this new experience. The university has undertaken a different university approach of teaching and learning, which makes this university quite unique. Overall, University of Northampton tries their best to support their student, giving them lots of support and opportunities.

The university is diverse and has a lot of substance to it. It's not just a place to learn, it also brings its culture with the area, do allows you to grow and meet new people. It's wonderful and friendly

The new campus is absolutely fantastic, it's so modern and definitely creates a more motivating environment. I still find the library quite confusing to get around though. The prices of drinks such as coffee and hot chocolate are slightly too expensive.

The campus is brand new, so modern. They have loads of facilities available to students and keep costs at a minimum by providing the majority of books needed online! The organisation of the lectures are done so far in advance that you are able to look into the topic before the lecture to get a head start

Last year (my first year) was at park campus was really good. This year I'm at Waterside campus which is good because it's near the town centre and is modern however the move has been messy and several lectures have been cancelled due to this. There are also no big lecture halls as they are focusing more on active blended learning. I prefer the lecture halls . The so called student Union, the platform, is overpriced and not very good.

With the campus being brand new I have thoroughly enjoyed spending my days here so far. The facilities are brilliant: laptops for hire, silent study areas, multiple cafes etc. The student union is resistant to the grade 2 listed building the Engine Shed which is a really cool aspect of this uni, it's so quirky. When you join you receive so much info both on paper and through the univsiety integrated learning experience NILE which is so helpful.

Recently moved to a new campus in the town centre, clearly a new modern building but missing a few things such as water fountains or plugs in the rooms in conveniant places

The University of Northampton helped me grow as a person and pushed me to push myself. The overall uni experience was interesting, the lecturers made it very enjoyable and overall the course was fun. The campus was small but the courses were spread out well with each course having a different area. I would say the university isn’t compeltely organised as there have been a few problems and mishaps this year regarding organisation of events but overall it’s been a great experience.

Thought that the university experience was very organised and enjoyable, good nice town and park campus is in a good location with appropriate facilities on site such as the student hub, lubarbg well looked after and the staff are extremely friendly and happy to help when needed, they do go the same extra mile for you! The sports clubs are wel organksed and you don’t have to pay which is a bonus

Good university, well organised compared to Coventry I went to before. The tutors are very involved with the students and care about us- however I would recommend that parking and travel be looked into. As in our new campus there is no car park.

The university is very Walm and welcoming and has a great campus. They have great facilities. Lectureres made me feel very comfortable and are supportive with academic as well as personal success.

I love how free the university is with building future entrepreneurs. They have facilities and mentor ships available.

The campus seems a bit dated but it is changed for next year as it is moving. My course has been good as the tutors are always on hand to help us and the students union team are always finding new ways to improve and make it better.

I gave my university an overall rating of 4 stars. The campus itself is basic, it’s nice clean and well kept, however does not compare to other universities I’ve seen on architecture and size. Facilities are relatively good, library open and cafe with good food but things like laptop hire etc sometimes have issues. My course is event management, and I do love it. However, lecture theatres could be better as well as classrooms- chairs are uncomfortable and make staying in a room more than 30 mins unbearable. You start to just focus on how much you want to be out of the chair rather than do the work. Tutors however are lovely and very supportive, and the uni itself has amazing people and resources to help with careers and your future which has helped me tons! Overall great uni, it’s juat a bit basic compared to others and lacks complete commitment to students needs: such as comfort in lectures and things such as laptop hire for certain people.

The fine art facilties are excellent with lots of room and access to equipment. The student union have a building which sells delicious food at cheap prices and drinks, open throughout the day and evening. I am worried everything will change for the worse when everyone moves to waterside in september expect from the art department whos staying at Avenue Campus. At the moment the art shop is extremely handy for quickly picking up art supplies inbetween lectures and when needed. But this is also being taken away from us in September which will mean we will be sort of equipment or will have to take time out of uni to travel further to buy something as simple as a pen. Also the price parking is rising dramatically too as a monthly charge which is unfair if we dont come in everyday or always drive. We have all complained but nothing has changed.

The University of Northampton is not the most impressive university, however it is full of amazing and helpful staff. The university doesn’t just focus on your study, it provides extensive opportunities to learn about future careers and gaining experience.

Some of the finest years of my life. The campus is a little dated and some of the administration left a bit to be desired but the standard of teaching has been sky-high.

The campus is really modern, central and newly built. The SU is pretty engaging with at least weekly parties. Course material is good, but not great.
