Newcastle Univeristy was excellent in so many ways. The teaching in particular was great in terms of course content and teacher student relations, we all got on so well and achieved great marks. The campus is friendly and picturesque. Also the graduation was one of my highlights, so well Organised and classy

I love how central the university is, and it’s great having the student union at the heart of the campus. I study history which is a very interesting course, but would love a few more contact hours. I believe that the student well being provisions could be improved greatly.

Newcastle have a nice but small gym. it is mainly busy just before supper and after but never too bad. they have a great career service how are always there to help with your cv and looking at internships. The library will have all your course books needed (i didn't buy any book in first year. wait to see what you really need in each course)

Firstly, my degree was ranked 24th highest however I think falls short of this. We are not provided with a Recap option, cannot consolidate our work if we wish to. Lectures are often only an hour long and are rushed. I do not find that majority of lectures have the student's best interests, particularly in one module. The student union, for a Russell Group university is average, unlike 'poly' universities that my friends attend, I have found my university does not create as many events, such as balls and has little interest in Sports competitions. Campus events are a rarity and more often than not are just freebies from Soap and Glory. The finance service failed me multiple times and my peers have found that the mental health services have done the same.

The campus at Newcastle university is outstanding and exactly what I wanted, with plenty of space to study and relax. My course is well-rounded and engaging, covering a range of topics and texts. The student union is the best place on campus and offers a great shop as well as space for working and eating. The organisation of my university is good but communications between teachers and students could be more efficient.

Newcastle Uni has a great campus that is right on the doorstep of the city centre. The main shopping street is right across the road from the SU and the campus is surrounded by the famous Newcastle nightlife. The vibe was always friendly, inclusive and fun at Newcastle, and many of the staff are world leading experts in their fields. The course I took was well structured, I was given plenty of resources and teaching hours, and felt that the lectures were well delivered. Choices for accommodation are abundant - there are plenty of estate agents and private landlords which you can rent from in Jesmond, Heston, Sandyford and even the city centre. If you don’t get accommodation in the city don’t worry - the metro service is discounted for students and runs from all the main student areas locally.

The new buildings are very good, some of the oldest building, like the Metz Court need some improvements.

Newcastle University is an outstanding institution. The campus is open and welcoming, with friendly staff who are always smiling. Everything you could need is available on campus with food outlets and and SU shop but the campus is also in walking distance of the centre of Newcastle, so you're always close to everything.

Amazing university and amazing city location. Campus is ideally located near city but separate enough to feel individual to it

I attend the London campus of the Newcastle university. They have great facilities which is shared with other universities. The library is well stocked and opened until 9pm. There are quiet areas plenty of room inside and outside the library many computers and others work individual or group work spaces/rooms. Overall the building is ideally situated and the rooms are very modern and well equipped. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The lecturers are great, especially the Spanish teacher and the finance and accountancy lecturer.

There are many good facilities at Newcastle University, especially the Sports Centre which I use a lot when going to the Gym and Strength and Conditioning. The staff there are very friendly and will always help you out if you need it. As well as this there the careers services are very good, you can book one to ones with the staff there where they help you with CVs, career choices, work experience and many more.

Newcastle University has a very well looked after campus, the union which sits at the heart of campus is a hive of activity creating an inviting atmopshere to students radiating a welcoming and relaxed vibe across the rest of the campus. The universities facilities are well looked after and easily accessable to students. The careers services are equally acessable and useful for any enquiries.

Friendly staff and students. Never felt like I wasn’t home. Course (combined honours) gives me the flexibility I craved while still giving me a world class education

The university has a beautiful campus and great dental school and staff. However the gym facilities let it down a lot for me

I am a final year and newcatle university, i study combiner honours (business and sociology). The campus at newcastle is great, i like the historic buildings and friendly atmosphere. I enjoy my course, i find it challenging but rewarding. One of the best parts about newcastle is the careers service, they have been very helpful with helping me find part time work and improving my cv. While newcastle is great, i think they could improve by providing cheaper first year accomodation. Recently, lots of new accomdation has been built, however it is all over 110 pounds per week. Newcastle is a great student city and the university really adds to what is already a great place to study. I do not regret going to newcastle one bit, i would reccomend it to anyone . They could also improve by providing a better gym.

The campus has great architecture and is very easy to navigate around. As well as this, the student union is right in the centre of campus for whenever you fancy a cheeky pint in the sun.... or when you need some computer to do work. Right next to the SU is the careers service that is outstanding and always offers help and support when it comes to your course, finding work and any problems you have.

The university is a welcoming and inviting area which separates the students doing different subjects. There are social integration activities which take place on occasion but overall a great place to study.

Newcastle university has an amazing campus and beautiful buildings. Accomodations are very good in general, however they are not affordable for those who come from a lower background. While the university tries to improve their building and spend a fortune on constructing new buildings, little help is offered to those with mental health problems. Appointments are limited and it takes long to get one, and the PEC committee of certain schools such as the biomedical science school discriminates alumni with mental health problems and does not offer support.

The university campus is really nice. Its located in the city centre which is close to the amenities. Lots of good student accomodation nearby too. Other courses seem to be good but tbh the architecture department needs improvement imo. Classes get cancelled on a regular basis and we pay much more than other faculties but we dont get as much learning hours/ lectures as them. But i am just talking abt the architecture major, and this is just my personal experience. Maybe others have better experience than me but personally i wish i hadnt spent my money here

Beautiful campus. Amazing buildings and facilities - especially the LRC for language students. Staff who are always willing to help.

I’m in my first year and I’m loving it! I love that the campus still has some old architecture, there are LOADS of opportunities for you to spend your leisure time on and student services are really caring and helpful. I really enjoy studying here in Newcastle.
