Clubs and societies
Our student-run Students Union (NUSU) is in the middle of our campus and is at the heart of student life. You can choose to get involved in over 200 clubs and societies, help run our student newspaper, radio or tv channel, and volunteer with local organisations.
Freshers' week
There is a strong sense of community on campus so it doesn't take our students long to settle in. Our Freshers' Week is organised by our students and is an exciting introduction into University life. Our Freshers can get involved in all sorts of events from Go-Karting to a shopping trip to Ikea! Over 300 volunteers are on hand throughout the week to help with any concerns or queries, so by the time teaching starts our Freshers are relaxed and looking forward to their time with us.
