My course chemistry is a great course, high quality lecturers and get the chance to use state of the art equipment. Main campus nice and getting much better with addition of green areas. Rarely go in the students union as nothing in there for me

I love studying at Manchester alliance business school they recently built the new campus. The teachers are so good and very encouraging!

overall good experience. lacks initiative for students suffering with mental health problems, students must seek help themselves, this is very ineffective

Manchester is a fantastic place to learn in the presence of genuine experts in their fields. It has great links with industry and future employers and is well located in the heart of the city to provide both social and vocational opportunities. However the campus itself is need of improvements such as more spaces to study and upgraded halls of residence.

The university is large but well organised. The facilities are good and modern. The library is well staffed and organised but has issues with a lack of toilet facilities, seats with plugs and water refill points.

Campus facilities are outdated espcially the science buildings. Main library is old and needs a serious renovation. Uni are paid enough money each year to renovate the main building atleast. It looks ancient.

Was there for 2 years. Amazing facilities and loved the architecture of the campuses - really old and antique. Including the library and the museum.

The university is really good. Some of the work could be better arranged but the societies and the people here are really nice!

University of Manchester is very strategically located. The University is near city centre and curry mile. For International students it is a very good place to be. In fact, more than 80% of the population is from other nationalities. The level of education is very high Chinese population has a dominance at the University, about 50% of the total students are chinese followed by about 10% Indian. I would suggest that at least 7 in IELTS or 104 in TOEFL. Because although University may accept you. It will be difficult to survive.

This university spends a lot of money and time to ensure a lot of events are taken place so people can enjoy the social side of university life. The lecturers are good and well-educated aside from one or two but the facilities are up to scratch.

This is a well resourced, highly equipped and aesthetic university with high research. There are many social opportunities with hundreds of societies to join, however teaching quality should be improved and more one to one tutor/ progress sessions should be implemented to fully aid the students weaknesses and struggles with their degree.

The Manchester campus is modern and attractive, the buildings and surrounding areas are kept clean and there is constant renovation going on ( new buildings being built ) There are huge numbers of facilities available for students including numerous subject specific libraries, study areas and cafes, so there is plenty of spaces to study. My course, business, is extremely well catered for with lecturers going above and beyond to ensure we have enough resources in order to succeed

Such an amazing uni and city. Amazing student population, it's the biggest in the UK and Europe. I'm sure you're bound to find your group of friends, both academic and social, here.

I find the geology course great, there are some amazing lecturers who are so nice and very helpful. However a couple are not so good, despite this the support system available is great. The modules are in general very engaging and a wide range of options are available. The main earth sciences building has a great atmosphere and is nice to work in.

Sociable, great night life, so diverse and so much to do. Met so many great people and the course I do is so well taught, tough, but well taught. Halls of residence are great and the food on curry mile adds to the living experience.

My course is okay, too much work load though. The SU is fine. Freshers was fun but the wristbands are a waste of money. RIP Antwerp and Sankeys.

I'm a 3rd year student here and I have to say that I have enjoyed my time here alot. The campus is often being build upon, creating green spaces, but this can cause inconvenience in the building stage. The uni also caters to people of any gender by having open bathrooms for anyone to use, however these cannot be found in every building.

My course is great and lectures super helpful, overall student experience great, loads of things to do in the city just a shame council is shutting down or limiting nightlife around Fallowfield

there are two main university campus and accommodations are located in three areas relatively close to uni, facilities include 24 hour libraries in almost every building, student support, student union which host several events and promote many things, my course is Adult Nursing which is so far great; each person has an academic advisor who you can go to if ever confused or struggling and the course teaches different ways to advance in nursing, personally trying to become an Advanced Nurse practitioner

It's being great so far. A bustling city, a truly international experience, world class research, facilities and staff. Makes you up your game, no matter how high it's been. This is University. Manchester makes it come alive.
