Respectable uni with amazing library and building amenities, lots of resources available. But not a lot of personal individual help and mental support etc. The buildings vary a lot in how well kept they are

Amazing uni, lots to do and good societies. Make sure to live in fallowfield because it’s the best place to be in Manchester. Amazing city and a very good and academic uni to go with it.

The student union has a great exec team, but isn't the best place to hang out. The course is great and the staff who teach me are fantastic.

I have been a student at the University of Manchester for 3 years and it has been the most fun I've had in my life! I have made friends for life, everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The campus makes you feel safe and there's just this mesmerising beauty about it! I'm not ready to leave yet so I've decided to do a Masters there too. My course was intellectually challenging and all aspects were interesting.

The campus facilities are good, lots of places to revise but can get really busy. Lectures can be mixed in quality, but seminar leaders for my course haven’t been great. The uni needs to have more for commuting students to be involved in. The career service is good.

Overall university ranking is very good but i think support for students to survive through course is very little and expects students to work on their own and their lecture material is not so good

The campus is spread out and not confined to one area, which is something I really like. I do think the teaching on my course (Chemical Engineering) could be a little better, but I really appreciate the facilities that are available to me as a student. The careers service is out of this world, they have helped me so much and enabled me to secure a graduate job. I really enjoyed my time in Manchester.

I enjoyed my course and throughout my university studies at the University of Manchester I was able to join various student societies and make friends. Overall I had a great experience at the university.

The campus is a city campus, bringing city life and learning together! Even though Manchester rains a lot, but the university is a lovely place to be at. The food on campus is on point, with cuisines from all over the world. The benefits of being a city campus also means that if you fancy something else to eat or socialise, you have the whole city in the palm of your hands. There are loads to study spaces for you to do private study as well as group study, as well as many other facilities you can take advantage of!

I am studying a nursing course and find the lecturers very helpful. They go out of their way to help you outside of the lecture theatres and are willing to go the extra mile always. The facilities on campus are great.

Uni of manchester is great. However, I personally had bad experiences with my personal advisors or any academic stuff who had to follow my particular case. Several times I have been ignored or felt like I was on my own regarding academic issues

I think the Politics and International Relations course is fantastic. If you are looking for a radical and progressive understanding of International Relations then Manchester is your best bet. There is a wide variety of different areas within the Politics department meaning you can usually find what you would like. I think the teaching on the course is fantastic will helpful and truly supportive staff. I personally have a massive problem with the management of the uni however, Nancy Rothwell fundamentally doesn't seem to care abut the wellbeing of her staff and students, as shown during the strikes to protect teaching staff pensions. She does not take the side of the staff or students and instead focuses on the economic gain of the university. She wants to make people believe that the university is focused on social justice, but is overwhelming not the case.

Excellent facilities just opened up a new AMBS library. the uni provides support when you find the right person to talk to within your department. Loads of events and exciting things to do.

Campus is great, city is fantastic, university is well recognised. Only fault is impossible to find a seat in AGLC, but I always took my laptop to library where there are loads of hidden areas to work in, or went super early.

The university provides a very good environment for lesrning. There are a lot of supporting facilities for those that need them. For me the best thing about this university is the huge international community. There are inclusive activities for people from different backgrounds which I believe help the students to feel more comfortable at uni .

University of Manchester campus has a good atmosphere with a huge library and learning commons. Lots of space to revise during exam season. Lecturers are always on hand to help you with any questions and are always willing to give you the extra help. The only down side to Manchester is the halls of residence. They are very outdated and dingy. However, they are currently in the middle of renovating them. Fallowfield is a short commute from the university and is student central. This is great as there are lots of bars and takeaways nearby. It comes with a great student atmosphere to have the best student experience possible

Every since I came to Manchester I fell in love with the city and the University. It offers a diverse range of activities and you will definitely find a group of people to stick with for the next few years. The ever developing campus provides so many facilities and places to study. There are 24 hour libraries where students can work. So many shops and eating places all around the campus and students can get cheap food at the students union. Careers service is always helpful but I recommend booking in advance as they get booked up pretty quick.

Some of the facilities for BA subjects are dated, for example more articles that are mandatory to read should be available on line. Careers service didn’t offer much advise for joining a masters degree at UoM. However overall the uni is very good due to the standard of teaching and feedback.

Biotechnology is an excellent course at The University of Manchester. It is very well taught and you have a lot of Laboratory experience. Moreover, the campus its self is very big, yet very well-communicated. The Students Union location is very appropiate, and has its own bar/restaurant to eat. The libraries are very new, and despite that they get full during exams period, there are many cafés around where to go study.

As one of the biggest university campuses my university provides hundreds of facilities that help all students. I study BSc geography and even for my course there is many groups that focus around this subject such as the tree planting society that is a Charity to help create more green spaces around Manchester

Great campus and highly supportive staff! Excellent place for research and houses rich resources for students to use free of cost. Vibrant campus with lots going on for students to enjoy. Careers services offers great support as well by organizing lots of events and providing one to one support.

I am a hundred percent certain I made the right choice by coming to the University of Manchester. I've never felt left out, specially as an international. I was also able to continue with my hobbies and learn new ones and meet people from all over the world and do the course that I love.

University could provide more support to its students. Strikes were not compensated well given that other universities were reimbursing students for lost time.
