The University of Liverpool

The campus is great, has everything in one place and so close to town with cafes, shops and nightlife. My course is very good, I get a lot of support from personal tutors and we have freedom when picking modules. The sports clubs and gym are also great.

The campus I amazing, has everything you need in one place and is so close to the city centre, shops, bars and nightlife. The gym and pool and also on campus and really good. I study ba geography and love my course. We have a good amount of freedom when it comes to picking modules, even in first year. Love the uni and the city of Liverpool.

I came here to study my masters, the university was great, with a l variety of expertise to learn from within my field (Archaeology), the focus is primarily on the ancient world, which may not appeal to all students.

The university has brilliant facilities and loads of support and it has brilliant ICT computers and also loads of information around the different courses

Perfect location, everything is near by in walking distance. The university itself is a fantastic, Russel group uni with a wide variety of courses that offer a diverse range of educational programmes

Having newly refurbished the Halls and Student Union, Liverpool is a great place to enjoy University life.

The campus is well laid out with everything in one area of Liverpool close to town centre and the train station. Student union organises many events that are good for socialising.

Excellent university. I am studying veterinary science and it was the best experience of my life! Liverpool and the leahurst teaching campus are both amazing! Excellent tuition and support and get nightlife in Liverpool. Would highly recommend

Good campus, friendly atmosphere. Quite a lot of student support. The libraries are good. A lot of shops on campus. Close to the city centre

Good uni set in the ideal location, great buildings and facilities. Staff are well knowledged with great enthusiasm and expertise. Could do with free printing though

Campus is good not too spread out easily walkable from one side to the other. Lots of events at the student union and good communication. Some lecture theatres are very old and uncomfortable to sit in for hours on end! Many buildings are very old and beautiful! I study geology which is good we get lots of lab time and many field trips to aid our understanding. Communication with lectures is good and they often reply quickly to emails. Uni is a challenge but also rewarding!

Good university with good lecturers, not happy about our Vuce Chancellor Janet Beer taking pensions off of the lecturers and hence am losing 24 hours of contact a week.

Great facilities including a brilliant gym with a load of classes to choose from. If sport isn't your thing then there is a huge number of societies you can join!

The University has many beautiful buildings and a good student union. There are two libraries which are open 24/7 and are both extremely large, which is very convenient.

Liverpool University has been fantastic so far, I have made some amazing friends and had many great experiences. There are plenty of societies to choose from, there's something for everyone whether you like sports, arts and crafts, gaming, activism, politics, want to learn a new skill or something else. Language courses are available so you can study languages alongside your degree - something which some of my friends have done. I study Geology and I get on well with everyone on my course. Since there aren't many people, we all know each other and people from all years talk to each other and know each other. The Herdman society puts on many lectures throughout the year including the Herdman symposium - a day of interesting talks on a wide variety of topics.
