Excellent university with up to date facilities. Students union constantly giving advice for careers etc and always accessible for mental health services. Studying Psychology bsc and good teaching and marking. Only Problem is sometimes not enough contact time and spaces on modules.

A very enjoyable experience and all the buildings are close and within walking distance of each other. There's never shortage of things to do if you're ever lost for what to do in your breaks there's plenty of cafes to sit and get work done as well as a leisurely walk to the cathedral or shopping

I loved my time at university, the university was in the middle of creating new space for psychology students so we got brand new labs. I enjoyed my lectures and felt that the university of Lincoln helped prepare me for graduating - even if it was too psychologist based

All round good experience, course could be better coordinated and organised but is generally an enjoyable and useful place to be.

The uni is very modern and lots of money goes into it. It is easy to make friends however can sometimes be too many people in certain areas.

A good University with good opportunities - some lecturers leave you to do most of the research yourself and give you somewhere to start off however usually are more than willing to help if you drop them an email. Others are alot more detailed in their presentations and outline what is more important etc. The facilities are great except during exam season you may find it difficult to find space in the library - especially working as a group, however you can book rooms in advance (but make sure it is in a d v a n c e). The student Union run pubs are really good and affordable and a very modern and friendly environment.

The International Tourism Management course is really well organised with great lecturers who really know the industry. They offer lots of support as well as opportunities to study abroad.

Great uni on an amazing location. All buildings are on the one campus so there is no travelling between different buildings. I studied psychology and it was great, they just built a building for psychology when I left unfortunately but that is great for future students. The facilities are also great and the library is a great source of information, endless journal articles and books for free!

Lincoln University is a fantastic place and I am so grateful to be a part of it. I study biology and the course is well taught and engaging. There are many sports teams and societies to choose from, so there is something for everyone. I was really shy and scared of interacting with people before I joined and now I am the president of the Snowsports society (which is the biggest team at the uni) and have really come out of my shell thanks to this amazing place.

A modern complex of high grade and high tech facilities playing host to a standard of education other universities can only dream of. While the location is not the most exciting, the university is on course to rejuvenating a historic city with modern flavours and the close proximity makes it feel like you are never detached from the university experience.

The campus is lovely and hosts 2 student union bars as well as a night club venue. With it being a rapidly growing university there are many different student halls many of which are brand new. The stunning city of Lincoln provides the perfect location for university life as there's lots to do in a small area meaning walking anywhere is dead easy. Also, there's lots of pubs. The courses offered at Lincoln are varied and of the highest teaching quality. As a student in the school of Life sciences, the universitie's new science and innovation park is a fantastic place to spend most of my time and it is equipped with lots of state of the art equipment. My only concern with the university is it's relatively average research output as an emphasis has been placed on teaching, however if rumours are correct then a focus for coming years will be upon matching the research output of other top research universities.

Had a great time at Lincoln. It’s cheap, every building is under 20 years old so it’s nice and clean along with everything being within walking distance makes for a great experience. My lecturers were all happy to help both with coursework and advice with personal projects. There is also opportunities to get involved with extra projects to try and get published or just get extra experience.

The campus is very conveniently situation right by my student accommodation which makes getting to university in the morning on time much easier. I really like the uni, and my tutor is great. Really helps with what we need and makes himself available to us when we need him.

The lecturers are disogranised and half of them don’t know what they’re talking about. The mental health system is a joke. The food and drinks are over priced. After I told my tutor that I want to kill myself he told me to drop out of the university. The library is had a silent floor but everyone talks on it.

I absolutely love my university campus, everything is walking distance and the resources are endless. I've spent many hours in our library which mixes the past and present in a really stylish, picturesque way. I'm always able to find the books i need and really enjoy using the Macs they have on offer. Opposite the library is Tower Bar ,which is a great places to go when you want to get a pint in the sun instead of studying, and Engine Shed, which has the best nights out! I currently study English and i absolutely love it, I have been opened up to a huge array of different authors from throughout history and from all other the world. It has really helped me decide what I want to do with my future. Finally, we have a very helpful job site on our student union website which I can vouch for because I managed to get work at the universities international office through this resource.

Staff is really friendly and helpful. Lecturers give their lectures at their best (I am in School Of Pharmacy).

An up and coming establishment which is becoming harder and harder to secure a place within. Overlooked by many but honestly watch this space and don't knock it till you've spent some time on campus and in the city.

The university as a whole is a solid university the facilities are fantastic including the libarary and the lecture halls. But there are areas of improvement such as course development were you can defiantly tell that it is a new university rather than one that has refined its courses.

The uni is in a beautiful location and my course, Creative Advertising, is amazing. I couldn't be happier.

The university of Lincoln relatively new, rapidly growing, expanding and improving. The newest facilities are fantastic and the old ones are always being added to and updated. We have a very active SU, career and health services available.

Great facilities, spacious study areas, Excellent teaching, the campus is accessible not very big and not too small; the Library is good being very old fashioned and containing loads of academic resources... Overall great University located in the heart of Lincolnshire

Overall the uni is a great uni. Everything within the city is so close so you don’t have to go for for a night out, shopping or your lectures. Sometimes I wish there was more in terms of getting to know other people such as at York there are specific uni wide freshers events. I would definitely recommend Lincoln for anyone who grew up in a smaller town it’s a perfect location to move to.
