Rugby Union - Men'S

The rugbg club at leicester university is great. Top fun for everyone involved, and the balance between social enjoyment and rugby focus is good. I feel there needs to be more money put into the rugby club to unlock it's full potential of turning leicester into a uni rugby powerhouse.

I have enjoyed every single experience with this rugby team, obviously not for the faint hearted as there are some interesting moments that you will remember for the rest of your life, still the friends that I have made will not be replaced throughout the years by anyone and that bond that has been formed through going nuts on Wednesdays during the games and afterwards is worth everything that you put into rugby. Subs of £25 per semester (2 sets overall) and a great laugh on the optional tour to Croatia

Brilliant society, that offers all students at all levels to participate at fixtures, and all socials. The standard of rugby is good, you make good friends here.

Ever since I joined the university rugby union club they have welcomed me with open arms. Through the club I have made some lifelong friends as well as making some very memborable memories. The rugby is also a very good standard, with the first team playing in midlands 1A legauge, having won it last year. It is amazing having the coaching staff from the Leicester Tigers and is really beneficial to your development. The committee are really friendly and helpful and over the past few years have turned the club around into a very successful club.

Joining the Rugby Union Society is possibly one of the greatest decisions I have since coming University. All of the teams are doing very well, and the socials are brilliant. I would recommend to anyone to join this society as you get to become good friends with a great group of people.
