I started the university in 2015. One of the many positives is the campus. It’s compact and friendly, has everything you need in easy access. The facilities on offer are fantastic in particular the library. There are a range of oppprtunities to get involved in and the career development service has been very helpful during my time at the university. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Leicester. I am a student ambassador plus treasurer of 2 societies so have fully taken advantage of some of the options available to students.

Have had a great overall experience at the University of Leicester. The campus is a nice size - not too big or spread out which means it's easy to get between classes and bump into people for a chat. Some of the buildings, like the skyscrapers stand out and may seem ugly at first, but they grow on you over time. Sad there is no longer a paternoster in the Attenborough building though, that was a fun thing to show visitors to the uni! The SU has a Starbucks and food market that includes pop ups from local businesses, currently the detox shack which sells health foods and smoothies, probably the most popular pop up to date. Most lecture theatres have been renovated recently and are comfortable and clean, and usually easy to find.

The university is brilliant in its diversity, it’s research, and it’s lecturers. I would recommend the university to everyone.

The campus is not that great in terms if how modern it feels and looks and is quite small, doesn't bother me but if you're looking for the state-of-the-art facilities, don't come here. The student union is great, there's a starbucks on campus at the su and the su are great at fighting for things for students. Careers servicez are also really helpful

As a university, the University of Leicester is an excellent space for learning and growing. With regards to the Law Department, there is a wide variety of modules to select from and great lectures and tutors. Furthermore, the various Law societies provide many activities and experiences that enrich the student life. The teaching facilities are good, albeit slightly spread apart making a challenging run between lectures and tutorials. One of the best aspects is the Careers Service who are very helpful when it comes to assessing CVs and cover letters as well as providing advice for application forms for internships. The Leicester Award Program is a great program run by the Careers Service which helps narrow our focus and develop our strengths and identify our weaknesses. The Student Union is good but does not have much in terms of connection with the student population. David Wilson Library is excellent.

Though at first I thought the UoL's campus was unimpressive, I've come to really appreciate it's smaller size and it allows movement between buildings and classes to be very smooth. Administration at the university is also amazingly good. The university has so many services designed to make your learning and experience at uni go as smooth as possible. One such service is the Careers development service which provides a tonne of help when it comes to cv and cover letter writing as well as job hunting and interview prep. The service is even able after you graduate as a student if you still need help.

The nightlife in Leicester is just fabulous. They have so many nights out to choose from every night of the week is different. The university is easy to reach and the students are friendly and helpful, especially the netball society who make you feel right at home.

The campus buildings are modern on the inside, whilst traditional on the out. Most of the buildings are in walking distance of each other, apart from a couple that are in an awkward location and hard to get to. The library is really nice also

I love my University. For me, the size of the campus is perfect as it is of a smaller size than a larger one, makes getting to your lectures so much easier and quicker. The facilities on campus are great, in particular the library and the food outlets on campus. The students union is good for socialising and grabbing something to eat however it could be bigger for the amount of students that use it, and there isn't really anywhere to shop or socialise e.g other Universities have a bar on its campus etc. The buildings and lecture theatres are generally modern and well kept with great resources to use with good accessibility. The lecture theatres could look at having plug sockets in them.
