Chemistry course was very well organised with great facilities. Issue with halls was that they were far from campus and the city centre. Food on campus very expensive

The univeristy of Leicester is the friendliest univeristy I have ever come across, the students are always willing to help each other out and campus always has something going on. The univeristy has amazing library facilities and has a whole bunch of societies to get involved with, the uni is safe and fun to be around.

The university buildings aren’t the best looking but the surrounding areas are quite nice. The university has good facilities wit a modern library; however the library gets quite busy during the afternoon and it’s difficult to find seats for more than two people.

The university itself isn’t the best looking but the surrounding areas are fairly nice. The library is quite modern with good facilities; however, the capacity isn’t great so often you won’t be able to get seats together if you are a group of 2 or more.

Lovely campus in great location close to the city and student areas. First year student village is a little further out of town by excellent for the sports facilities. Campus is nice and compact and has a gym and shops. Doing chemistry and really enjoy it, great department with good student-academic interaction.

The uni has had positives and negatives. Generally help has been available to me whenever I have needed it, but sometimes the lecturers have seemed a little unapproachable. I feel it could be better if I felt comfortable going to any of the lecturers for help

Great university with warm welcoming environment. In my first year everyone was so enthusiastic and helpful, people are extremely helpful.

The university of Leicester is a great place to study, from the constant help with your degree to the useful career service. The lecturers are willing to help you even out of office hours. I have found the career service helpful. From looking over my cv and cover letter to life after university. The student union is a great place to seek help and with the constant check up on students you feel as an individual you are an important part to the university

One of my uni’s main selling points is that it’s culturally diverse and inclusive... but I haven’t found that it is.

Pretty good I won’t lie, could do with a decent chippy though, I mean how long does it take to get to reach one hundred characters anyway?

The campus environment is beautiful with lots of study spaces and food stalls. I have struggled with my lectures in maths finding them unapproachable and difficult to understand

Amazing campus and facilities and the course is taught by very good lecturers. The nightlife is good too as we have our own O2 Academy on campus. Overall a great uni.

It's a good university until it comes to problems or mishaps. The university (school office) doesn't know how to deal with cases on an individual basis. Additionally if they double checked their work and publishings before they made them public there would be less problems in the first place.

The campus is old, I hated my course, not help about choosing the right modules, the student union is quite small.

My course is so good in terms of content and crossover. The staff are highly accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. Office hours make them easily accessible and the emailing system is brilliant.

Good university with great lecturers. Just wish they had more lecture theartres for each department so we don’t have to keep travelling across campus.

Not a fan of how the campus is spread out a bit randomly however student union and student activities are good

The campus is great with a lot of facilities, activities and resources to offer. There are also a lot of places to work and study such as the library and students union. However food prices at the SU are slightly expensive.

Friendly staff Facilities is satisfactory Course politics and economics satisfactory Student union is supportive although doesn’t explain clear student objectives

Leicester has a nice small university campus. The gym and library are a bit too small though. Accommodation in second/third/fourth year in the city is a lot better than in first year as the houses can be so close to campus. Studying chemistry has been great and hearing from other students, the course is very well run compared to other courses.
