The campus is lively with events going on all throughout the year. For my course in Modern Languages we have our own study area which is very useful when we have to practise speaking or get together to do group projects. The teachers are great and right from the beginning of the course there is the opportunity to do the Leicester Award, to improve your CV and get work experience.

Best 3 years of my life, have had a blast. Great uni with great support services, charismatic city with lots to do

The University has great facilities, especially the library. It only improved over the years as we received new computers, chairs and services. The University is located quite close to the city centre which makes it easy to access shops, pubs and entertainment venues.

Love the area and city centre! People are very friendly and staffs are helpful. The city centre has many attractions and it's very little on night time.

The campus has parts that are old, but many places on campus has been undergoing development whilst I’ve been there! I do medicine and we have had a brand new medical school built that is lovely and high tech! The students union has just started undergoing development and looks like it should be great when finished.

While the campus isn't the nicest looking of all in England, the university offers some excellent services. The library has brilliant staff willing to help you out on your first few trips and is one of my favourite buildings. Modern and well sized. The lectures while not all as invested in their modules, often show great enthusiasm and are always there to support you and help you further your understanding. The people in leciester are so diverse. Being one of the most multicultural places in the UK brings with it a great experience which a lot of the time is quite different to what many people grew up in. You without a doubt will meet some amazing people and the bonds created at uni are like no other. I've loved my time at Leicester.

The campus is really nice and clean and all in one place. Lecturers are all willing to help you as long as you just ask them. Food on campus is pretty expensive compared to what you could get in other places/shops.

A good university with fairly good facilities. Although the campus is relatively small, it is easy to navigate and a short walk to the city. The uni offers lots of careers assistance and accommodation for freshers. My particular course (languages) is very well organised and taught by a great group of professors.

The campus is of sufficient size, with multiple food outlets and services for students. The library is well stocked and has quiet areas so students can study in peace. Furthermore, the services the university provides are good; in particular the careers services, accessibility department, education unit and student wellbeing services are commendable, as they try to support students as much as possible.

University of Leicester has a great variety of types of accommodation, and these are shown very well during the open days by student ambassadors. This is good because it creates a very welcoming environment before coming. The uni has various good facilities available to students, but could be priced at more affordable levels. The gym and accommodation prices (which keep rising) are quite expensive for students. Overall, my course is well run, with a buzzing students union and loads of big sports teams and societies the uni is a great place to be

The campus itself is very well put together with everything in very close proximity. The course I am on (American Studies) is very enjoyable so far, offering a range of topics and skills such as History, Literature, Politics and Media. The SU we have is also very positive, offering lots of help to all students who may have varying issues as well as offering three student night's out a week.

There's one main campus so it's easy to get to all uni facilities. The location is just a 10 minutes walk from the city center. The university in general is quite unorganised with exam dates and assignments, which are given only a week from holidays starting. The library is the best building and facility on campus. The su features a variety of food available, however it is pricy.

At Leicester university there is a lot to do on campus, being able to chill with your friends in different parts of the campus and enjoy the incredibly history and architecture the university posses. Another great quality about the university is the amount of outlets on campus, allowing there to be hundered of different opportunites to eat and drink something different, nearly every day! It’s a great experience to be part of the campus!

The university has a nice campus. It is very beautiful as well as to move between the lectures as everything is in one place. Also, university has fabulous library which is very modern and breathtaking by its appearance. Of course it also provides a lot of cool services like laptop rent and etc. Also, the wality of lectures is excellen they are to the younger side, engaging, putting effort and mind into the teaching , so it definitile enhaces the studying experience.

The campus is great very easy to navigate and they've recently done some work to it which is great. The medical school is brand new and the space there is used very well. It's such a nice area to work in. They have also added a lot more work space to the library so during exams there's a lot more space for people to work! The SU's quite small but does organise good nights out on a Friday and Wednesday at the O2.

The university ideally has most of its buildings all on one main campus so everything is within easy reach, the only exception is criminology which is off campus and you have to run to those buildings to get there on time. The gym is also ideally located on campus and there is a huge library with lots of books which is also open 24/7 and has a lot of seats, although during exam time it could do with more. There are lots of food outlets on campus that are reasonably priced as well as a campus shop to buy any stationary/books etc. There is a bus that runs every 10 minutes between the university and halls of residence so you are never waiting around too long.

The campus is ideally mostly all together so most buildings that you need to be at are all in close proximity however some are not, e.g. Criminology which means you do have to run between campus and other parts of the city making you late. My law course has been well organised and we have had lectures from some really engaging lecturers, we have small tutorial groups so it feels very personal and we have lots of good feedback in them, we have a good amount of contact hours and in terms of facilites all of the offices are on campus and so is the gym.

SU is extremely helpful, library facilities are good and even throughout strike action is well organised.

I’m a second year student at University of Leicester and so far i’ve had the best time of my life here. Everything is great from the number of places you can study in the library to the resources. What's great about the uni is how compact it is and how easy it is to get around. Being such a compact campus means you don't have to run from lecture to lecture. There is a variety of amenities of campus which cater to all your needs. There are plenty of food options. The student union is also really modern, there's lots of comfy seating and they've got a few food outlets including starbucks and a shop. There is always stuff going on around campus, something for everyone. They are a huge range of clubs and societies to get involved in away from the traditional sports clubs. Overall Leicester has excellent facilities and top quality teaching staff who are helpful and informative. The services available to students are good quality and really support you throughout your degree and after.

Money grabbing ass holes who just see students as a money pot/number on a screen :) criminology department is a joke
