They treat you like shit in the law department everyone at the reception is so rude for no reason. The lecturers literally just read off of the slides, you're paying millions for nothing

Very nice campus, clean and organised. Lecturers are very friendly and always ready to help if needed. Graeatvfaculities on campus including the 24hour library which is very much needed.

The University is currently improving on many levels. A lot of the opinions depends solely on the course that you undertake. The content of my course is not as exciting as the same course in other universities. Topics include only what the lecturers are specialised in and its not always stimulating content or applicable to our current day-to-day. This hugely impacts the quality of knowledge that you end up with.

There are many facilities on campus such as a gym, 24 hour library and a varied careers service. The downside is the food, There is not a wife variety of options and food is expensive. Campus is big which is nice but can be a bit creepy during the night. Also accommodation is pretty limited and expensive and there are not many options that are super close to uni.

The campus is nice with good facilities. Library is lovely! I like the study zones. But it could be better. Mh course is very interesting. Maths ! Student union is always around always willing to help and support you. Very friendly with every student at uni.

The Campus is small enough to not get lost too easily but too small in a squashed sense. Facillities in terms of lecture halls and the library are modern and well looked after. Places to eat on campus are in abundace with many food outlets although they aren't as cheap as I had imagined. The career service is especially helpful with search for part time employment or perhaps even support om CVs and Cover Letters. The student union is a great social space and the societies on offer are good although their organisation is poor as most of them run very few events throughout the year.

The university has a very welcoming nature. All the students and staff I've met have been very helpful with me in my first year. The lecturers and tutors are very easy to reach, always answering emails very quickly and offering office hours for any question. In terms of size, the campus is not too big but not too small either, its very compact and so very easy to get from one lecture to another. The lecture theatres can vary from very modern to quite old. The only thing that I would suggest improvement is in some social sciences lecture teathers which look a bit old and a bit damaged. The career development service is very professional and gives you a lot of advice and opportunities, such as internships, CV writing, career paths. Student life is very good, there are many clubs for different tastes in music and living in Leicester is not as expensive as other UK cities.

Leicester University has a beautiful campus, it's easy to get around and has outstanding facilities for example the amazing library. The library, is huge and has many places to study, work and relax. There are so many books available both online and in print, and the university provides many resources beyond just books such as scientific journals and magazines. There is so much help available outside your studies too for your mental and physical health, financial aid and so much more.

As a third year student, I can confidently say my university have provided me great services to help me succeed both academically and financially. Although I have never used the services to support me with my health and wellbeing, I have known they have been there throughout my university experience if I needed them.

The university provides the students with an amazing intercultural experience. The campus is well organised and it is a peaceful place to study.

Beautiful campus, never run into any problems due to lack of facilities, my course has been interesting and well-run (however with very minor issues in organisation) with tons of support within the course from lecturers, module convenors and other staff members.

The university is more like a community. I've really enjoyed my years in Leicester and will continue to do so. The support from faculties is amazing

The university has a great connection with its students. There are many opportunities outside of your degree such as sports and volunteering

Good library, good gym although expensive to join, halls quite far out of town and bus service in not great. Not much of a nightlife in Leicester but a few nice bars and it is growing slowly!

Great campus the course is very intellectually stimulating and interesting. The food on campus is varied and relatively cheap, and of good quality.

The union has very good facilities for chemistry students. The labs are up to date and equipment works as expected. Lecture theatres are mostly up to scratch and lecture capture is used for every room

The university is really great for my course, I study computer science and the facilities are good. There is a computer lab for computer science students only and we have top of the range equipment and lecturers, and often have talks regarding this subject from external professors. Organisation is great and the support is also there when required.

The campus and university were a lovely environment and modern in places. My course, mathematics, lacked a building which could be a future improvement. The SU was big and the services offered there were faultless. My overall experience was great.

My course has been excellent and the lecturers and staff in the Department of Criminology have been incredibly supportive. Overall, I believe Leicester is very strong all around: sport, societies, library, accommodation, careers are all excellent. I’ve found all the staff I have interacted with to be professional and supportive. If you go to Leicester and give it every ounce of effort you possess, you’ll have a great time as well as coming out with a good degree.

The university can be badly organised, in particular with my course where lecturers can sometimes be unresponsive during periods where we need help with assignments or exam preparation. The student union can get ridiculously busy especially during lunch time so finding a seat is always a struggle. I feel a lot of the money spent in the years that I have been there have been spent in all the wrong places - for example, it is spent on decorative purposes rather than improving the practicality of the university ie expanding lecture theatres/library, as there are not enough spaces for all students, more options for food etc. Overall the university is good but a lot of improvement is needed.

Awesome University full of excitement and wonder. The university accommodates all students regardless of faith, race or creed and provides a quality learning experience

I think the lecturers are very average, but the student union is pretty good. the careers services are good if used but a lot of people don’t seem to. the gym is good but super expensive and annoying because you have to pay for the gym to join sports societies

I think there are a fair number of differences between my experience at Leicester and other students. Studying medicine you don’t get as much of an opportunity to integrate with the other students. That being said the resources and facilities we are provided with are arguably better than students on other courses- for example we’re in a new building and our teaching wasn’t affected by the strikes.

The tutors here are extremely helpful. They are eager and enthusiastic about helping you grow, gain work as well as academic experience and extremely compassionate about your needs and worries. Moreover, the societies here organise tons of fun and educational events and that can improve your general knowledge about the subject that you're interested in. The facilities are extremely good. The library is quiet on some floors and there is one specific floor which is designed for group studying and, over time, it became a social place when you can waste time with your friends instead of actual studying without feeling guilty about it.
