Moving to uni wasn’t a big change for me, I was used to moving around, moving schools and meeting new people. But I was surprised when on my first night after moving in and going out with my block to the first uni rave. I ended up back in my bed at 2am crying. I don’t even remember why, but I cried myself to sleep. The rest of freshers was fun, refreshing. Loads of free goodies, fun and events and everyone was extremely friendly.

I personally thought uol could of done better with fresher events. There was no variety, it seemed everything was chart music. There was hardly any events, and if so they were just repeats.

Made a lot of great friends and overall had a very positive experience, wouldn't change anything really

Fresher's fortnight tested my party stamina with all the events, but it was the best way to connect with my flatmates and start meeting people from different courses.

Friend of and approachable staff, make the move and all events which surround the freshers move up, a more relaxing experience. A big tip would be to actually try during first year!lol Many firms look at your initial grades, when you apply for schemes and thus having a decent set of grades behind you, woo reply help when setting you out from the crowd!
