The university is great. The support I have received through out university has been excellent. The library's are big and have used both the ones on the medway campus as well as the Canterbury campus, both are great and provide lots of seating.

Good campus and up to date facilities. Lots of space to study and learn. Good lectures for the course, very helpful and good lectures. Enjoyed my experience so far and glad I joined this university. Helpful careers service, help give advise on applying for jobs and making good CVs, many other students to talk to about applications or university in general.

My course so far has been really interesting, I enjoy the different courses I am taking. The accomodation village is really well planned out and the amount of societies gives a wide set of choices to cater for a diverse amount.

The whole thing isn't worth 9250 quid per year. Teachers are really helpful, campus is nice, city is nice.

The campus is located in the beautiful location, lots of places to go and relax. There are a lot of facilities available throughout the campus. Newly build library extension did increase the seating spaces and more computers have been added. Plenty of eating places with reasonable prices. Kent staff is very helpful and friendly. The gym is easily accessible.

Enjoyable campus to live on in first year, and to come to on a daily basis after. nice central hub with shops and food. good facilities. good nightlife. good sports facilities and a nice place to be. would definitely recommend for a student looking for a homely campus. not too far from Canterbury city centre via a short walk. and after first year, the university makes it very easy to sort out student housing.

Excellent university with everything located on campus and a 10 minute bus journey to the city centre. High standard of teaching with a lot of independent study.

Find that facilities are exception, ifninate choices of where to go in regards to nightlife and education. All lectures teach good content and the depth in which they gontonis excellent. The days do drag in regards to timetables as I’m in everyday for only a limited time so travelling is a headache but it’s kept me focused I shall continue to strive

There are two campus in university of kent, Canterbury and Medway. Canterbury is fine, but Medway is a bit boring.

Amazing campus, always being modernised and always kept clean. Great student union - the venue being a strong asset with lots of events being held throughout the year! In my second year studying Comparative Literature and am thoroughly enjoying it, course is interesting and varied and taught well by enthusiastic and notable lectures and seminar leaders. So glad I came!

It can be said that half of the university is very modern, up to date and all encompassing in terms of facilities, however the other half.of the univeristy is very dated, with cramoed accomodation and windowless seminar rooms. This can be said for both the university facilities such as seminar and lecture rooms and also the university accomodation. Similarly, in terms of my course, I am a law student and so I am lucky enough to be one of the departments that has a new modern and up to date facilities. The law school at Kent is definitely one of its redeeming qualities with lots of featurea including the law clinic, making it outstanding. However, in terms of resources, these are very limited in contrast to the amount of students. This is shown in both the lack of booka available in the library and also the lack of seating area within the library, despite the recent revamp. I would say the career service, whilat helpful to many students through advertisements and offers, may be seen as substandard to students such as myself who do.not want to follow the conventional route from their degree.

I just started my course at Kent University and I study English Literature with Creative writing. I really love my course - all modules (except Romanticism which is mandatory) are chosen by you, so your degree is suited to you and what you want to study. Seminars for this course are approx 2 hours and lectures are an hour each. As an English Student, you don’t have as many contact hours as someone who may do something like Biomed, but you are expected to do reading for each seminar. Most of my modules are coursework based, and at my university the deadlines are mostly spread out, except for the end of term, in which I have 4 essays due on the last day of term. Overall, if you choose self catered accommodation with an en suite, you won’t be disappointed. I live in Keynes college which is very close to most places on campus which is very convinent. Night life is good - there is a club on campus which is 2 min walk away from where I stay and there are more night clubs in Canterbury which are also really good (Cuban is a personal favourite).
