The campus itself is brilliant, it is well organised to cater for many subjects. The only issue would be parking, it’s either very costly or not available. Even the nearby streets are highly against student parking. Overall with all the facilities available it is a great university.

Very happy with my experience at this university. My course has a great number of contact hours, lecturers are enthusiastic and happy to help when needed and facilities for my course (including laboratories) are brand new and very well equipped. Campus buildings and accommodation is almost all recently built and well designed, living on campus all lectures are less than 10 minutes walk away which is very convenient. The students union engages with the student body well and makes changes quickly according to our feedback, there is a wide selection of academic and social societies to get involved with, including free exercise classes which run often and are a great break from studying. The careers service has a strong presence around campus and offer a wide range of ways to help you become prepared for work, including CV advice, interview practice and advice if you are considering starting your own business. I have felt fully supported in all aspects of student life, from freshers week to exams!

gorgeous campus for the most part. beautiful grounds, fountains, and modern admin building in the centre of all the accommodation. laundry facilities suck but so do all circuit laundrys. generally kind staff at the oval and helpful security. psychology is a fairly rounded course; lectures are okay if you enjoy powerpoints being read out to you, but all slides are uploaded so solitary learners can do as they wish too.

Science facilities are good along with the library and resources. Freshers week could be better! The organisation of the modules is sometimes not very good.

Great resources and facilities .

The university has great staff within health and social care. However I do believe that more choice should be given to students for placement allocation. Student well-being is fantastic.

De Havilland campus has the best university buildings as they are modern and is the hub of the university in my opinion. De Havilland is seen as the more lively campus. College lane has better looking accommodation than De Havilland, however quality wise I would say the campuses are almost equal, except College lane’s new accommodation buildings have better kitchen facilities (not Telford though). I study Marketing with Spanish and my course so far has been hit and miss (I am in second year). Most of the modules are relevant but some of the lectures lack engagement and just read off of slides, not providing real insight. That being said though, I have had a few excellent lecturers who make the subjects more interesting and are more straight to the point with their teaching styles. My course hasn’t been particularly challenging, it mostly consists of report writing, some group projects involving presentations or group marketing activities. In terms of events this university lacks more exciting night life options at the forum and more events to cater to everyone. They should have more urban nights at the forum playing rnb, hip hop, basement and grime because a lot of students want this type of music during their nights out and they cater more towards house music. Overall the university is decent, nothing out of the ordinary in terms of education or social life.

Really good Uni, has a community feel. THe first time I came to my uni for an Open Day I knew it was going to be the uni I study at for the next 3 years, it felt like home. Only thing they could improve on is the SU and their prices

It’s very diverse, and I get to know a lot of people from different countries. The facility is very good especially the learning resource centre.

The University of Hertfordshire always has thibgs going on, there are so many events and activities you can choose to do if you want toso you definitely won't get bored. The tutors are great and everyone is supportive and happy to help whenever. The facilities are good, there is a sports village, a handy student Union shop and an LRC. The campus is nice and spacious and the outdoor spaces are great for taking a break between lectures and studying. The careers service is very helpful and extremely useful if you have any kind of interview coming up you need to prepare for.

I love the library at this university and that's actually where I have spend the most of my time. I didn't think there were a lot of activities going on and most of them were during the evening which as a commuter, I found it very difficult to attend any.

The course I studied in university was business marketing, although it was a subject that really challenged me I learnt a lot of life skills which have helped me. Also jus living in the campus helped me become more independent.

The campus is really good - it has a lot of facilities with an gym, swimming pool, really big a spacious library and a nice cafeteria. The course I do is set really well, any help that is needed you can always go see any member of the department, be it a lecturer or the course co-ordinater, everyone is really friendly. The student union is really good - they are always there to offer a helping hand and provide good nights out.

The university had a large campus with a load of facilities. Along with a cafeteria there’s a Starbucks and a shop inside the forum.
