The uni of Gloucester is great fun but is extremely dull on the weekends unless you have planned in advance as prices go sky high to the rest of Cheltenham’s crowd. The uni itself is well organised with great lecturers and and an easy enough online portal. If they had more options for filling your time at weekends and during the week it would be a much better place, I’m in two days a week, meaning 5 days are days I need to entertain myself and on a student budget it’s extremly difficult.

University of Gloucestershire is one of the best universities out there. There is an abundance of great and well experienced lecturers who are dedicated and determined to get their students their grades and experiences. The university itself offers useful help and resources at the tip of our fingers leading us to be successful.

One of the best Universities to study at. Has a massive library and a range of facilities spread across different campuses, students are guaranteed to stay entertained during their studies.

Very good, always have equipment and lecturers are always on hand to help. Halls was a very bad experience for me and uni could've done more to help. Overall course is very good loads of opportunities

I study graphic design at this university, I'm in my first year and so far I love the course and the campuses everyone is really friendly and the buildings are very modern and colourful. Also the staff are always there to hear your feedback and get to know you opinions on things. It's very student based. There is always people looking out for you and the resources that are avalible to the students who are struggling are great I would highly recommend this university x

Oxstalls campus is great, especially with all the new facilities that have been built. The staff our approachable and always willing to offer help and support.

The university as a whole is very contemporary and caters to many different styles - as it is under the process of growing still, the potential for it is there and is growing on a termly basis. All facilities are always clean and welcoming, not too much or too little.

Good support did to the size of the university being smaller than many. Nightlight isn't the greatest (Cheltenham). Majority of halls or residence are run down, however the new pitville halls look very nice. Overall a friendly atmosphere around uni. Decent facilities

The campus is simply beautiful. The facilities are fantastic and easily accessible at all times. The course is second-to-none; best choice I ever made. The SU hold fantastic events. The careers service is exemplary; they are a very helpful team that can point us in the right direction if we need guidance. My experience has been amazing; just the best.

No halal food and very expensive. Quality of food is also poor. Course is very good, organised and well put together. The students union is not a big thing at this uni.

Francis Close hall is a very lovely looking campus, with modern aspects added to update it. The lecturers are great particularly for geography. The career services are also very beneficial.

University of Gloucestershire is a university which is up and improving year by year. From the new sports arena to the newly built SU. These are just the little things that university do to make the the student experience a little bit better. The support we received from lecturer and the university itself have been phenomenal and without the help of the helpzone and the people working in the helpzone, my academic grades would not be as good as it is today. The university aim to include and provides for students from all different types of background. Overall the university is a great place to start the next chapter.

The campus of FCH has great facilities which are always being updated to allow for more students and more amazing rooms to learn in. The faculty are so helpful when it comes to not only the subjects they teach but are caring about other aspects of your life and how they can help with this. The refectory is a great place to grab coffee with friends or study with the comfy booths where you can share learning.

The SU are great, students are all friendly and non-judgemental. Staff are great at helping with queries and there are a wide variety of societies out there.

Overall my University experience has been a good one. I would say that from visiting friends at other Universities though, that it doesn't have the best facilities and space but this comes with it being a smaller uni and therefore hasn't affected me hugely I would say. Sometimes my course feels unorganised and like theres not a strong structure there. There is a lack of a student gym on the Cheltenham campuses which would benefit health both mentally and physically for students. Not much seems to happen with the student union in terms of socialising unless you're in a society or do a sport.

I have been so impressed with the extent of our lecturer's knowledge and the support that they give us. The lectures and seminars are practical and interesting. We are given plentiful opportunities to work with children, both on placements and alongside our lecturers - they are confident enough in their practice to let us watch them teach!

Alright uni, but they take the maximum tuition loan from every student no matter what course, and they don't try to set you up with jobs after your degree

The campus is nice, although the teaching rooms are eithed too hor or too cold. The course is easy, but lectures are often cancelled. I'm not involved with student union or any clubs or organisations.

I had a great three years here, finding that the student support was especially great, as well as the vast advice on careers offered too!
