Glasgow campus is breathtaking it looks like Hogwarts. It's especially beautiful during the fall when the leaves are falling. The main building with the cloisters are the best for pictures and moments of silence and pondering. We have an amazing library which is always busy but it is organized so well. I do English Literature and I enjoy the course a lot.

Couldn't fault my time at the University, felt very well supported and the courses were a great variety.

The main building is beautiful, but campus is currently undergoing renovation which is an inconvenience. We have 2 unions, they're average at best. The careers service is excellent. The history department is very disorganised

My impression was that the business model is mostly based on a marketing scheme, not so much on quality teaching. Very few courses to do a masters (6 classes in total) in economics might be a great cost-cutting method, but also keeps the the knowledge you gain as a student low. The content of these classes is tailored to make everyone pass, so everyone is happy about having paid thousands of pounds, and it might do well in rankings as well. In my course, about a third of students had a first-class degree, which really tells how challenging this course was. The good part was that I had lots of time for social life (good night life and general atmosphere in Glasgow) and the excellent sports facilities. Administration was not very efficient. If you decide to do a masters to learn and qualify yourself for future challenges in jobs or even a PhD, you better don't come here. Glasgow is a great city to live in though.

Generally, I’ve had a good 4 years here. I studied languages which I enjoyed, but must say that languages courses here can be more focused on essay writing/literature rather than improving your competency in that language. I didn’t spend too much time in the two Unions, but enjoyed them nonetheless. I would recommend studying here for other aspects such as the city itself, there’s so much life and things to do, you would never be bored here and the people are really friendly.

Beautiful university however there is a huge stigma attached to it. I am from the east end and sometimes feel very self conscious when speaking out in classes or lectures due to my east end accent. There is even such a thing which is known as the “Glasgow uni accent” which is horrific and put on by many people.

The actual campus is beautiful and is such a nice environment to learn in. I study civil engineering with architecture and the course has been challenging but the lecturers have all been brilliant.

I studied at a branch of the university of Glasgow down in Dumfries and the campus is beautiful, down around all the old sandstone buildings and picturesque fields. The staff are lovely and friendly. I had such a good experience at this uni I'm now employed here as well. :)

Excellent university with 2 unions to choose between (GUU is the better one). It has an excellent library with 12 floors and open 24 hours over exam season. If you are a medical student there is even a separate building with a library in it which is great. There are so many clubs and societies to choose between which is great for meeting likeminded people. In terms of nightlife and food, Glasgow has so much choice that it is difficult to try everything. It is such a friendly city and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The University of Glasgow is based in Glasgows westend, which is about a 15 - 20 minute walk from the town centre. There is a sports/leisure centre accross from the main building, I have only tried the swimming but that was enjoyable and the pool wasnt overpacked. The facilities within the University are clean and tidy. There are gender neutral toilets in some buildings along with easy accessible toilets. There is cafes / shops / restaurants located all around the campus. I found my course a bit of a struggle as this was my first year, so trying to find new ways of holding information and learning new ways to study are achievements to partake next year. Overall my first year experience was overwhelming, however i am hoping i keep on track for my 2nd year.

An inclusive and vibrant university that truly provides an amazing experience for all its students. The campus is beautiful and often compared to Hogwarts, as well as there being a huge range of clubs and societies to join. The teaching is great and the tutors are always there for you if you need! Not only, they are very understanding of mitigating circumstances around exams and deadlines. Overall, everyone who goes to GU falls in love with the culture and experience of the university. It's an intimate and special environment - couldn't recommend it enough.

Love the campus, it's a great environment and a really nice-looking, traditional place. The buildings are spaced nicely and there's a sense of togetherness.

Fab uni, great people and excellent teaching. The old buildings are stunning whilst the new buildings are v practical and contain world class facilities. People always have a smile on them and the lecturers are very helpful.

The University of Glasgow has a beautiful campus, with most people likening it to Hogwarts. There are two university unions which is great, especially in Fresher's week as there are different options! I thoroughly enjoyed studying music here, and found the support in place for students was very good. The head of music supported me through a struggle with anxiety, and the drop in counselling service proved to be very helpful. I enjoyed my lectures, and found the staff very easy to get on with, as they treat the students as their peers. I am very proud to say I studied here, and hope others had as good an experience as I did.

The university itself is great, and I'm real gutted I never made the most of my opportunity to study here. I started a maths degree a few years ago and got off to a great start, but for different reasons, I soon started slacking and spend the rest of my years here very passively. This year I will graduate, but I never really got the "uni experience" because of my laziness!

Excellent University with superb facilities including catering, library access and both unions, especially the GUU. The course I study (veterinary medicine) is very well structured and the staff are friendly, helpful and outgoing. The campus is a good mixture between the old and the new and the city as a whole is brilliant to live and study in.

The campus is in an excellent location surrounded by many cafes, restaurant and bars. There are 4 student unions which allows a great variety of events and opportunities.

Great university in general. Plenty of facilities for everybody, good accessibility, and a lot of support. The main building is incredibly beautiful and lovely to wander around on a sunny day. My one complaint is that quite a few of the lecture halls feel pretty outdated and could do with some more up to date technology and comfier seats.

The campus is beautiful. The accommodation close to campus is a bit pricey and the student halls of residences are a bit far away, however the location is great for bars and restaurants. There is a vibrant student community on campus and the university is helpful when it comes to careers service, disability service etc. There is a variety of clubs and societies on offer to students, as well as two well established and busy student unions.

Amazing campus with many spaces to sit and relax/ study And eat. Many clubs and unions to choose from with organised weekly outings and parties.

Campus is fab, everything within 15mins walking. My course was Physics, well structured and the lecturers were mostly good.

Campus is beautiful and next to Kelvingrove park. 2 unions that host lots of events but the Glasgow University Union (GUU)'s Beer Bar is where you want to be. Career services can be easily found and accessible but the library, despite the size, is an absolute nightmare for finding seats during exam season.
