Whilst I joined for the opportunity to continue with shooting, my favourite thing about the Rifle Club is the people. There are people with so many different interests, from different courses and backgrounds, and it makes conversations really fun! We have 3 training nights a week and all our equipment is provided within our membership price, so it's also really financially accessible and you can choose whether you want to attend regularly to improve or just to come along every so often. We have 2 trips to Bisley every year, which are full of shooting, socialising and getting to know each other better, and by the end of the first trip you really feel like part of something. It's important to feel like part of something at university, and Rifle Club has made me feel really welcome.
