It’s alright if you don’t want that uni lifestyle. I went when I was a bit older so was easy to focus and just go lectures, go library and back home to focus on anything else I had going on. Lectures can be nice and the sound of the plans arriving and elevating from the airport across the Thames is probably the only downfall especially if you’re in lectures

Regarding the course, I feel like there should be a further improvement in the academic calendar and AV equipment upgrades. The facilities themselves (in relation) are well-equiped, albeit with some improvement required. The career services have been quite helpful and forthcoming. The student unions promotes a series of events throughout the year which are inclusive and rather exciting too. Overall, the experience has been good.

It's an average university, very good facilities but can be poor with getting back to you and support.

Campus is well equipped with great 24/7 library services, on campus shops and good equipment for student use. Accommodation seems overpriced but still reasonable for London universities.

campus is far from everything on dockside and not many eating options or entertainment around just one quiet bar, lecturers can be quite brief and difficult to contact with queries but do offer lots of jobs.

I studied at the Docklands campus which is a modern site, with two types of accommodation blocks, smaller round blocks and larger rectangular blocks. It's all close to the main building and library, as well as the gym. The course I chose was great but lacked hands on experience which would have definitely improved my overall university experience as I had to find my own work experience. My specific course, Music Industry Management, bring a lot of competition in that industry so more assistance in getting work experience would have been useful. The set up of the course was designed well and it was mainly coursework with one exam through the 3 years. The lecturers were interesting and had a range of experiences behind them to inspire and teach us.

It's okay- teachers aren't that good and the course material isn't the best. The way it's taughr isn't that food either.

The staff and set up at this university are very unorganised e.g. it took this university over 5 weeks to sort out my timetable and up to now i am stil getting absent marks for lessons that were not on my timetable . On the other hand the university has nice modern and spacious buildings but no plug sockets in lecture theatres for students to use.

I am studying an MA in Fine Art. While the lecturers are very good and knowledgable, the course is disorganised and access to workshops is much more limited for ma students then ba. This course is cheaper then most universities, the library facilities are very good and careers area is helpful.

I study Music perfomance and production When it comes to the course, its unfair that groupwork that is unmediated has the power to determine your final grade as some people in the group may be unresponsive or uninterested which leaves you with a lower grade .It would be nice if students were given a Macbook to be a me to access logic pro in their own time as it is a required software that you can only access on a Macbook and if you can't afford one then that effects your chances of passing the course.

The university is in great proximity from stratford station. Good facilities. Student union could improve. More microwaves.

The university is ok. The food is not great. Support from teachers is there, however sometimes they are very unorganised and there are a lot of absences meaning lessons have to be changed around and we are left feeling unsure about certain things, but they would be quick to threaten to remove you from your course for non attendance.

Great lecturers overall system for my module sucks as we submit things on wordpress which i think is stupid.

The Docklands Campus is a somewhat nice looking area, supposedly safe with security. Always cold due to being on a very windy dock. The management is completely messed up, as of this year my course (and year) has lost 3 members of staff (50%). Technician and working practitioner were fired and my head of course/programme leader quit. Leaving my course with 3 lecturers across 3 years / 12 different modules. Facilities here are very good.

The campus in our Uni is superb. Excellent scenery witch helps us students feel calm and relaxed. The univeristy could do more as a community for example signing up for a small community that can have events in uni for example diwali party
