Mooting

very well organised society with many law related activities, appropriate for both law and non law students. I am a second year non law student who joined this year and had a very interesting experience, and quite enjoyed participating in the novice cup - while mooting is quite challenging and requires getting to grips with quite complex legal concepts, the resources from the university are massively helpful and there is a good amount of guidance from the exec (even if sometimes replies may be a bit slow). there are also good events with free wine and canapes! opportunities to interact with lawyers, law firms, solicitors, barristers and judges - as well as external competitions, I'm going to London to compete at the courts of inn early next year.
