Was in the Buxton campus studying Outdoor sports coaching and leadership degree and was great experience. The facilities are great and teachers as well. If you want to be involved in outdoor sports then I would chose this.

My overall experience at University of Derby was really good, the campus has a lot to offer, two massive libraries when one of them offers 24h access in busy study periods which is brilliant. Plus the campus is full of coffee and chill spots. During my first year at uni I lived in halls which I didn't enjoy as much mainly due to different personalities of my flatmates but overall the accommodation was good and close to uni campus. The city is perfect for student life and finding a student job.

The university has everything you need on site to succeed in your desired field with plenty of staff able to provide academic, economic and emotional support at all times. The campus is a fair distance from the city centre put the free buses help make this a stress-free journey and accommodation is inbetween the uni and city allowing for short travel time and relatively quiet environments.

Very supportive university that made it very easy for first years to feel welcome as well as settle in easily. Career services seem very organised and helpful as well as the number of courses they provide means that the student community is very diverse.

Nice small university if that's what your looking for! Lovely newly built gym and clean lecturing rooms. The student union bar is lovely for either food or for a drink after or before a lecture.

The campus of the university of derby in Buxton is very historical as it records many historical records and the lecturers are so cooperative and overall the services are too. Don't have much sports facilities

The campus I attend is lovely and the course is so much fun but sometimes lecturers are difficult to contact and are often unavailable at really important times for us which is incredibly frustrating considering the amount of money we spend on tuition

Derby is a fantastic university with amazing opportunities for students and staff. The university has excellent facilities that are specific to different courses such as a practice hospital ward and a mechanics workshop for cars as examples. There is a brilliant library which offers good space to work.

In this last five years, the University of Derby has invested heavily in there facilities. Including a new state of the art sports centre and fitness suite and the new health centre. The university is in top banding for teaching standards as it recently received the highest level, this is clearly demonstrated across the lectures.

Derby university main campus is exceptional, unfortunately the distance between sites is a bit frustrating. Great teaching quality and plenty of resources available for students.

Careers services are very helpful with helping students find graduate jobs and opportunities. The student well-being service provided is helpful for struggling students

I personally enjoy being at this university and it has a nice homely feel to it. The uni is a large campus with lots of facilities including a gym onsite and lots of food and drink places (subway, pizza express). The student union is also on campus with the academy bar. I study Nursing, the staff are lovely and I enjoy each session. The lecture halls are modern and range from small to large. It's abit far out from the city centre but a free uni bus runs regularly with is very handy. I don't live in derby so I can't comment on the city but it seems pleasant enough!

The halls of residence and university are not close and there is no bus services at weekends. despite that the teaching at university is satisfactory, lecturers are helpful. As a international student I face some problems, the biggest one is language but lecturers always explain me everything clearly so I have no obstacle in the modules.

All campus' are great, easy to navigate and have all the facilities you could need. Everybody is extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The student centre is very good at directing you to the best team to speak to for any queries and always do their best to help where appropriate.

I am studying psychology at thr university of Derby and being in my third year I can say that I have used all those services. I trully recommend the university. The careers services people are always happy to help and have lots of resources available to guide you. The sports centre is well equiped even though I have not used it a lot. We've got lots of teams and also lots of societies so it is practically impossible that you won't find something you're passionate about. Lecturers on my course are very approachable and always happy for you to ask questions and to offer uou feedback on anything.

I study at the Friar Gate campus, as this is not the main campus I kind of feel pushed out. I don't really feel included in any student events. However it is convenient for me to get to and has most of the facilities I need (except from a library). I study criminology which has been absolutely fantastic, my lecturers are amazing and have real life experiences in their field. As previously mentioned as I'm not in the main campus which means I don't really know anything about the student union and haven't been involved with anything.

The university is welcoming and has a great environment. The resources available and late library opening times are very helpful, along with the free bus services. There are two separate campus' and I found it difficult to keep up with what's going on as I wasn't studying at the main campus.

Amazing campus. Easy to access and find your way around. Helpful and friendly staff who support you no matter what. Suitable facilities for eating and drinking with a wide range of variety for all. The toilets are always clean, could be more added to avoid the huge question. The student bar on campus does brilliant food and service as does blends coffee bar.
