Really good university, you can tell as soon as you walk in it’s a creative uni, always upgrading it and putting up displays of students work which is great to see. More like a college than a university so not the typical university experience but the courses make up for that. There is a big selection of courses and on different campuses, and the student union is always there for students

Uniersity for the creative arts Farnham has made me feel quite welcome, the teaching staff are very accepting and helpful, however I have found that a few of the maintenance staff can be quite rude toward the student body without any reason, this is from personal experiance and stories my friends have told me that live in halls.

The campus is very small but being a small uni has its advantages. It means theres more opportunities to work with other students and have your work noticed, however the lecturers and tutors all work part time as they have a job in the creative industry outside of university, so a lot of the time they don't turn up to classes, workshops are constantly being cancelled ect. good uni if you want a laid back experience because no one seems to care about what you're doing

The on campus facilities for printing are very very good, the only thing which could potentially make students use it more is if it was free to print. Student union are always so helpful and understanding if you want to talk to them, the doors always open! As the for the student life, it’s amazing! There is such a mixture of activities and events, hard to ever get bored! I’m in my final year now but I will be sad to leave university here, it’s been the best experience of my life and I’ve met so many great people!

The atmosphere at uni is bright and creative. I feel very safe, inspired and motivated when I’m there. Not only that but our tutors are so helpful and go above and beyond for us which further enhance some the overall experience.

University for the creative arts Rochester campus It’s a great campus recently renovated cafeteria that has style and room with two stations one for hot food and the other for sandwiches, subs and snacks to keep you going through the day. The library is a great place for resources and has library staff there to help you with finding sources for you essays and dissertations. There’s also tutors who will help you to plan and organise your essays. The Rochester campus also has a variety of shops on campus, such as the main shop that has a great range of stationary, papers, sketchbooks and loads more, a fabric shop that sell a wide range of fabrics, buttons, sequins etc, there’s also a woodwork shop which also offer laxer cutting. And as a Fashion and Textile Print student the print room is like my second studio there’s screen prints and heat presses galore there , and a few rooms down is the print room which has an amazing three digital printers! Perfect for everything from samples to final collections and there a really short waiting time too as it’s on campus.

The campus is small but quaint, in an area of epsom that is close enough to the city for a good night life, but far enough away to escape to a far less urban setting. Regarding the facilities, there are enough across the campuses that are in a close proximity to each other to be broad, however, when focusing solely on epsom, it is far more limited in terms of facilities as some of the spaces are smaller than comfort would desire. Overall, my experience of the university has been highly positive, and the staff are all very helpful in all aspects of their work, both in terms of teaching and guiding students.
