Fantastic opportunities abroad along with the diverse students attracted make UCL a truly global university. Library spaces are great too, full of character.

UCL is one of the most diverse universities in the UK. My experience being a student has so far been great - the lecturers, my course, the opportunities provided by UCL - all are brilliant.

The university is in a good area, central london. it is a bit of a downer to have 3 years of law school in a container building (bidborough) because bentham house was not ready, and we had to be everywhere for lectures.

I am studying Neuroscience at UCL, which is a pretty tough course but with lots of opportunities for getting experience in research. UCL is surrounded by research especially Neuroscience research whic makes it such a great Research University. In terms if teaching this are not so shiny and bright, most of the time I get the sesation that the style of traching is pretty much very old school in my department, with lots and lots of lectures and not too many worksops and few labs as well. Facilities simply do not meet demand, there are so many students and the campus is quite small. The student union is really great there are always very intresting events running and there is a society for pretty much anything you can think of.

Its a good university with very good art studios and world class facilities. The fees is quite high though.

The university constantly tries to improve the systems, processes and methods of teaching. The campuses are quite nice, teaching is excellent.

UCL is overall an excellent university. The standard of teaching is very high, it is situated in a vibrant part of London and it is very easy to meet people. My main criticism would be one which applies to most London universities: the campus does feel quite crampt for space when you compare it with universities in other cities, and the student bars really need to be done up, they are pretty grotty. Also the bloomsbury fitness gym is very small and crampt, always quite busy and is in dire need of some air conditioning in summer!

UCL is a very good university with interesting and flexible courses. Despite the lack of campus, there are good facilities. The only downside is that all exams were in Excel, which were disorganised and often loud.

Career services are really helpful. It differs across departments but generally speaking lots of support is available ranging from CV checks to mock interviews. On top of what the university provides, lots of societies (EFS, Business Society) run workshops and mentor students.

Great range of societiesLove the library but shame on the lack of seating! Nice campus, wish it was less spread out to help mingling with different students; very secluded especially if youre a medical student (different building)..

Whilst the university has international prestige, it is clearly well aware of this as it doesn't do much else to draw students in. The student bars and societies are reasonable, teaching and planning is hit and miss, the university will try and fleece you for extras (especially graduation). Location is amazing though.

Disorganised administration throughout my time at UCL. Highly disorganised administration within my course too. Increases in accommodation rent yet the uni has enough money for unnecessary building of flashy new buildings?

Overall ucl provides the best experiences I had as a student, either as a student or for my campus life.

good name reputation, mediocre teaching. uni is run as a business rather than as an educational institute by academics.

Being able to study in London is fantastic as there is really everything you could want going on. There are lots of societies too to get involved with and the university is really well renowned across the country and internationally. The university is renovating buildings to have more modern facilities which will be good in the future but less so at the moment. There is not a particularly homey feel on campus as it is largely spread across different buildings around Bloomsbury. The careers service has been somewhat helpful but would have expected more from such a prestigious and career-focused university.

Very good uni in the heart of London. Amazing facilities and the learning is amazing. The lecturers are very knowledgable and have given us amazing feedback too. The library is huge which helps with all the research. It is also very quiet which helps with studying and completing assignements.

University College London is a globally recognised University based in the heart of one of the best cities in the world. It has a lot to offer in terms of the student experience. It has world-class research facilities and huge student body. The student union works hard to get behind the students and represent them well. It lacks in the overall administration and other areas or student well-being. But if you work hard enough, UCL will eventually get you to where you want to be.

This is one of the world's best universities and it is located right in the heart of the capital. Because it is a full university you will meet people from all walks. The faculty also attracts many leading academics from all over the world. The only problem is the top management and the university. As a student you will have the best days of your life here.

Very interesting course with many outstanding lecturers which taught me a lot of knowledge. The university located in central London will a mumber of variety in tube lines to travel. I had a lot of fun through out my time in the university, made a lot of friends which support me through ups and downs.

Can give postagrduates a better research experience. The campus is great and the student Union is very helpful atleast during the initial stage. Can help the postgraduates with placements better. When it comes to providing University accommodation to international students, they can be a little flexible with the application deadlines

The UCL has been research oriented, which was true in the case of my course as well. Although, I do feel that the money paid for the minimal number of classes as well as the limited contact hours feels a bit too much, given that most students coming from varying international background. The teachers are extremely knowledgable but at the same time difficult to reach out to. Also, very little group work means that you have little chance to interact with people apart from class which limits the exposure.

The campus might not be the most beautiful, but the facilities are very good. The library is huge with loads of seating (this is a big deal!) and the gym is really good.

While the academic side of UCL is great and really stimulating, the uni does not really help you settle in, so you end up having to learn as you go. I think as a fresher, I could have done with some more guidance, especially being in London!
