The university is great in terms of its location - the centre of London. The facilities are good in terms of the numerous libraries, but the sports facilities are on the outskirts of London so it is a pain sometimes. The student union are always active and hosting numerous events and there are plentiful societies to join - I was impressed with the diversity of choice! The careers services are exceptional, I would definitely recommend and the connections they have are great. The organisation of the university is the only thing I would fault - they are very slow at getting anything processed.

UCL differs to other London universities in that it holds more expression for individuality; I believe it has more societies and diverse groups than any other London university. Its location in Bloomsbury is in the heart of London, and though there is some struggle for overcapacity, the buildings are all interesting and full of history - the main library is definitely a feat. My course, studying management, was in Canary Wharf, which is the situated in the new business school. This swanky floor is somewhat lacking proper student study space and is perhaps simply just an architectural feat for UCL. I much prefer the Bloomsbury campus. Having said that, most of my lecturers were impressive and eager to teach. Some were frustrated with the students and seemed only interest in their research, but I have far worse experience of this from Kings College. The careers services are actually one of the best I've seen - though we all find it annoying, they hold weekly workshops and corporate events and are encouraging in one on one meetings. I went with no clue of my future and was met with nothing but support. I honestly would recommend UCL for its reputation, its level of study and some of its lecturers but it does have the issue of overcapacity and some administrative disorganisation.

UCL is an amazing university - student satisfaction is key in all proceedings. I was based at School of Pharmacy and there is a truly family feel to it. Labs are well equipped and staff is very accommodating. The bar provides a social space to experience the university life after a long week of work. On the other hand, there is access to all the main campus facilities and although I haven't used many the Careers Centre is definitely a life saver when dealing with life after studies!

UCL is undoubtedly one of the best university in the country. My programme is jointly run with QMUL, which is a plus for my study experience. Here we have the leading scholars run our seminar class and plenty of chances to participate in academic events. The thing I appreciate the most is that my tutors are all very approachable and helpful. Also, the modules are well designed and organised. I only wish I could attend all of them. Overall, my programme is definitely the best choice for humanities students—just as good as attending those programmes in Oxbridge!

Amazing school, the staff here are very supportive, going out of their way to ensure that we feel comfortable at UCL. The student union is always coming up with exciting activities in school. However, the lecture theatres and classrooms aren't very nice.

UCL is at the heart of London city, it’s one of the few city universities that offer a campus feel in the middle of buzzing city. With thousands of students and staff members making the university experience invaluable and truly once in a life time amazing experience

I have been attending this university since last September and I’ve been loving the experience. The teaching here is superb and is actually made interesting compared to the teaching in schools. There is much more supported provided for students in relation to health, studies and staff are much more understand and treat students as though they are fellow professionals.

Really like the campus, good lecturers overall. Would like a gym membership to be included in the fees. also some social sports teams would be nice. Mainly in the school of pharmacy so haven't had too much time to explore the whole campus. Think coffee could be slightly cheaper in school of pharmacy

The university has a great environment for people who wish to engage in analytical and critical learning. As well as the social interactions between the students.

Amazing campus in a great location. My course, medicine, has a great structure. There are many, many societies to choose from and it is easy to involve yourself with any of them

Campus+facilities - lots of facilities and buildings are usually well maintained. Study space runs out very quickly and it can be hard to get a seat in the libraries. Student union - I don't know much about the SU but there are a wide range of societies. Course - I study medicine. It is taught well and we get lots of support.

The campus at UCL is very lively with frequent events and friendly faces around. As a university in London, the area is vibrant with several restaurants nearby to suit all kinds of taste preferences. My campus is in Brunswick square (School of Pharmacy), which also has various restaurants and shops nearby. My course specifically (Pharmacy) is fascinating with new challenges every year and exciting career prospects following the completion of the degree. The student union career service is very helpful and offer multiple services to support student's applications for placements (industrial, summer etc.) and graduate programmes. I have personally approaches these services on an occasion for a review of my CV, and was very pleased with the feedback which landed me an industrial placement at a reputable pharmaceutical industry in the UK.

The campus is great, quite large however there is not enough space on main campus for all lectures therefore I often have lectures at Birkbeck Univeristy and even at the Royal National Hotel. The student union is amazing as there are hundreds of societies for everyone to join and loads of events to take part in.

The computer science course is very well organized and taught. Most of the professors are really dedicated and offer several side projects in case you are up for a masters or PhD

I love University College London! Coming here has been the best decision. I love the main campus, all of the buildings are gorgeous. The university is very social and I really enjoy the student bars. The facilities for my course Psychology and Language Sciences are impeccable. All of the equipment is up to date and the research labs are modern. All of my lectures have been professional yet extremely interesting and have offered all the support in the transition into the university. I would recommend UCL wholeheartedly.

UCL is the best place to be a university student. I feel your experience here is unmatched. Along with world class facilities, amazing research insitituons with some of our research hubs being among the top 3 in the world, the teaching is also amazing. As a medical student I feel UCL medical school is very well organised, and I feel listened to as they promptly respond to feedback. Resources are available in a structured manner. It is clear that the course has been thoughtfully organised. Not only are the students very diverse in culture and what they study, they are also incredibly friendly too meaning you can have intellectual conversations with anyone about anything. The students are very active in societies, so we have some of the best societies in the UK: being part of a society is one of the most enjoyable parts of your university experience, with the members feeling like a family. Societies contribute to the unity on campus amongst UCL students. As well as being an amazing university, it is situated in London - the best city to be a student because you'll never run out of things to do, places to eat and explore. UCL is in the heart of Central London, with excellent tube connections and hundreds of places just a short walk away from campus. I'm halfway through my second year and I haven't even explored a 0.1% of everything UCL and London itself has to offer. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

I love the location of the campus, takes a bit to find your way around at first but once you get the hang of it it's good. Psychology at UCL is amazing. My halls are better than I expected and super cheap for London.

Really good uni I have enjoyed my time here, the lecture halls are all really big and easily accessible. I have found that living in central London was a lot easier than I thought and the uni has helped me with finding housing etc. The level of teaching is really high and I have been fortunate enough to have amazing lecturers that really care about our future.

Going to this university was the best decision I've made . It has offered me so many opportunities to enrich my life in many ways . I would happily come back to do a PhD. The support and the excellent teaching is outstanding. The campus is spread amongst many buildings but everyone is very friendly and it is the perfect opportunity to make friends from all over the world as there is a high number of international students .
