Having UCL on your CV will land you a a good job in a blink of an eye - this is for sure. If you have more than one offer, consider the course in itself as well as your chances to get a job straight after your graduation. UCL also offers support thought their career fairs and experts who will be able to help you with cover letters, applications and CV. The multicultural environment allows you to get in touch with different cultures and backgrounds and it's definitely one of the best universities for overseas students.

Great uni experience so far. The location and its campus is perfect though teaching can be improved. And a better mentoring scheme. Th student union and career service is strong and advertise themselves well

I love UCL - it's a fantastic university right in the centre of London, so the location is amazing, and people are generally so friendly here. They have a positive attitude towards environmental issues, and there are so many exciting societies to join - literally something for everyone! I also love the events they have here, ranging from society balls to clothing swap shops.

Good facilities and lectures, lots of societies to join but not the same experience as a campus university. Not enough study space for amount of students.

The university campus is great and the culture here is amazing! The people you meet and opportunities available are great with you being in the heart of England’s capital! The one negative however is that teaching can be very hit or miss with some lectures being great and others leave you feeling as though this is something they’re forced to do as many of them do research as their primary job with a bit of teaching on the side. This can lead to dull lectures and lecturers who don’t really care how you do so lack with help and understanding.

Campus is in the city centre of Bloomsbury so it is very central with great transport link. There are great facilities including new Student centre and main library is one of the beautiful building. Lecture rooms are well equipped, however, the number of theatres are limited which isn't great. My course BSc population health is one of the best course. I feel like there is always great support from my module tutors and complaints are dealt professionally. Student union seems to be democratic and work hard to create more choices for students. Career services are very useful IF you decide to use it. However, plenty of research by yourself is needed.

The main campus is situated near Euston and is surprisingly big seeing as it’s located in central London. What I particularly love about UCL is that there are plenty of spaces to work outside of the traditional library setting. Around the main campus are loads of student cafes and student bars (which offer a massive discount- makes a change for drinking in London!). One thing that attracted me in particular to my course was the affiliations it has with major institutions in London. My course is a research masters in conservation biology and being at UCL means I can do research for London zoo and the natural history museum which is amazing.

UCL is an amazing uni and I’m loving every second of it (maybe not too much during exam and essay season)... The staff are amazing and are always available to help whenever nessesary and give good feedback on all assignments. The campus is very close to Euston station so it’s very practical and you can walk to SOHO in about 15 to 20 minutes. My course is well structured and it’s easy to change module if you need to - even after a couple of weeks of class. The only issue I have encountered is with the library facilities, there are very few places to sit and even fewer toilets - with queues lasting up to 10 minutes. The library cafes are also not very good and there is no where to have a tea break without leaving the building.

Campus: lovely campus despite being located in central London. Lectures are located at different parts so might be a hassle to walk around but I quite enjoy it. Careers services are good, they provide regular email newsletters and themed weeks but I personally have not attended these events. The Union is very active in promoting various initiatives including mental health.

Teachers are supportive, although I feel that the undergraduate degrees at UCL don't really challenge us enough and the professors could have expected more of the students who come to this institution.

- Many libraries and good printing services - A wide variety of clubs and societies to join - Course is well-structured and career services are provided

The university has an amazing reputation which gives you job opportunities. However, in general the quality of the buildings, facilities and teaching is good but nothing truly special. We still have teachers who google things and the syllabus is unclear.

Gorgeous campus with excellent resources. Cann feel a little strange going to university in a city as busy as London, but once you embrace the chaos it feels like your own personal playground. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Really international, quality lecturers who know their field very well and are receptive to questions, very central location so difficult to live near campus without paying a lot for rent, limited pastoral care network but you can find help if you need it.

There are not enough offices for PhD students: we have to share with a lot of other students. The food in campus is usually bad. The staff is quite good, and the courses they offer are also good, although sometimes they could be more advanced. Everything seems to be well organized, and staff is quite helpful. The classrooms are not the best since whiteboards are just really bad in my opinion.

Best part about my uni has got to be how diverse and big our communities are. Of course the reputation is a plus for certain degrees like architecture and art, but for maths for example, which also happens to be my degree, where it's not as well known, i think ucl should put more focus on subjects like this to improve its reputation in subjects where it may not be as well known for. We have some great professors but there are a few whereby I can see they are obviously incredibly smart, but on the matters if they can teach is another subject. Also, particularly in my field of study, i see how disproportionate the women to men ratio is for postgrad levels/professors - but it's more or leas 50:50 for undergraduate level which, as a woman, does make me feel great that ucl has this balance. I also enjoy how we're near to london student union but i would like to mention that although our ucl student union does try their best to help us, some student reps are inactive such as our activities officer who is meant to help us with union activities/queries but to this day he has not responded to me since October. In terms of facilities, whilst i can see other degree subjects have great facilities (such as BASc which i honestly think is one of the key selling points of UCL, along with the Bartlett School of Architecture), facilities for the Maths department for example is very poor. We pay the same amount of tuition fees but I honestly don't see where our money is going to as our department building is very old - it's on top of the student union so we dont even have our own building - and we have poor facilities and sometimes even have lectures in hotel conferance halls (keep in mind especially in first year where everyone does compulsory modules that we have lectures for roughly 300 people). I would like to see a better use of our tuition fees, whether its investing for more lecture Maths lecture halls which are run down or old or by making lectures available online (they dont screen cast them), or perhaps printing out lecture notes for us instead of us using our money to print them out ourselves, or ideally it would be nice if they all gave us an ipad so we save money and we can actually use it in our studies - frankly a £300 to £700 ipad is far less than the tuition fees we pay. I would honestly just like to see where our money is going into.

My course and department (Linguistics) were amazing. Department building was modern, well-lit and comfortable. Lots of rooms available and perfectly sized lecture halls. There were great resources; we had our own library and lab. Students could book small rooms for group study. General university services were good. Libraries had many printers, computers and study spaces. There were microwaves for students to heat up their own food. Great atmosphere in Portico and main quad.

The year so far has been going really well. In general all lecturers are quite good and engaging, and willing to help students if they have any questions regarding the topics or assignments. The library facilities are easy to use and there are a variety if places that we can use. There is no shortage of cafe's for lunch and snacks. Staff around campus are friendly and there is always some sort of event going on in the foyers which is nice to go to to spend breaks to network.

I did Economics at UCL. The lecturers are very helpful and really try to explain stuff to students. The only complains tend to be about the number of students, as I have the feeling that UCL is understaffed with too many students, that they don't have enough cares, and the tutors just can't help it. Receptionists can be more polite towards student, they tend to always be like they are giving us a favour instead of a service.

One of the best universities in the world. Campus is lively most of the time and easy to get to for lectures. The university is quite well equipped except for sports, unfortunately.

With a vibrant campus situated in a very good location in London, UCL has a large number of societies and activities always happening. My course has a reasonable number of contact hours with lecturers also being able to help via email and office hours. UCL seems to offer a good amount of student support, with personal tutor meetings and mental health services. However, there are occasionally issues with space such as the library being quite full (even in low season) or lecture halls not big enough for all students.

UCL is a great university in terms of variety as you meet people from many different disciplines everyday. The downside of it is mostly in terms of organisation. Being such a huge university, i believe it struggles with general course organisation. An example of this for me was at the beginning of this year when my modules didnt get accepted on a misunderstanding. And those happen a lot. Nevertheless wouldnt want to be anywhere else.

So far the course has been well organised, however I wish that there were more resources available to us sometimes as I sometimes don't know where to begin
